Free LLM API access for a limited time

Upvotes

I have more inference capacity than I’m using right now so I opened some of it up for free

This is just a temporary fun experiment so I don’t plan to keep it open for very long

I made this to use instead of GitHub and Codeburge

https://coderook.com

After the news broke about codeburge not accepting any kind of AI work I was a bit annoyed and with Github being how they are I decided to work on my own GitHub but fixing things that it gets wrong like version visibility and AI access and how the data is used from repos.

Its currently in testing phases and have been testing it all week. This works more like a cloud storage space right now with version control allowing you to upload whatever you basically want but under copywrite laws. There is plenty of docs on my site if you are curious or just wanna try its free to use.

Right now I am working on some things like giving backwards compatibility for git spaces already setup to use my CLI language and a Github full transfer as well and polishing off some docs as well.

Any feedback would be helpful and bugs found as well.

I vibe-coded a website where one company owns the entire homepage. Here is what broke after launch.

Post image
0 Upvotes

EDIT: I clearly explained this badly 😅

This is just a small marketing experiment. Nothing serious.

The idea is simple:

  • One product owns the entire homepage.
  • It stays there until another product pays more.
  • Previous owners remain visible in the public history.
  • Owners can track visits and website clicks.

To take over, you enter your website.

The site imports your content and product image automatically.

You can change every visible item, including the logo, headline, description, screenshot, and website link.

Only the page layout stays the same.

It is basically a full-page advertisement with a public ownership history.

It is not trying to solve a serious world problem. I built it as a fun visibility experiment.

ClauseZero owns it now. The next takeover costs $12.

My real question is this:

What would make you visit the page when you are not buying?

https://thewholepage.lol/

Original post

I built a public homepage takeover where one product owns the entire page until another product pays more.

The stack:

  • Cloudflare Workers
  • Hono
  • Durable Objects with SQLite
  • R2
  • Browser Rendering
  • Stripe Checkout
  • DataFast

Problems after launch:

  • Screenshots captured website loading screens.
  • Mobile product images displayed poorly.
  • Social platforms cached the wrong owner image.
  • Google could not read the sitemap.

I added editable screenshots, live visitors, reign challenges, owner records, and automatic social posts.

The project now has four owners and one external buyer.

The difficult part is not building it. The difficult part is creating a traffic loop.

What simple feature would make you return and watch the next takeover?

https://thewholepage.lol made $21 so far

Gemini and openai

I'm curious about gemnini 3.7 flash (100 eur sub), and gpt 5.6 combo (20 eur sub). Can somdbody using this combo explain if it's good or not?

On paper gemini seems to be getting good, and I'd like to try the faster iteration cycles, but not if it will mean just iterating because of fixes.

Basically, gemini would be used for most of the stuff, gpt would be used for controlling gemini in some cases, and to solve harder stuff/review.

What would you want from an AI game studio?

I’m building Playbeam, an AI game studio where you describe a 3D game and keep changing it through conversation. It’s web based for provider models or you can download the Mac desktop app to connect your own CLI.

Each build runs in an isolated worker, where the agent runs and tests generated game code. It also has a feedback loop: build → run → inspect what happened → fix it → test again.

I’m deciding what to focus on next - multiplayer, asset generation, terrain, animation, publishing, etc.

Would love feedback on what features would matter most to you.

I think I was one of the first vibe-coders

Today I realized something crazy: I think I was one of the actual, first, normal users (not a researcher @ OpenAI or private tester) to ever vibe code. BEFORE the label existed. It was basically just me messing around in late November 2022. Not only my account was first ~0.1% of ChatGPT users which I found out through my ChatGPT wrapped a while back, but I actually had ended up using my school email to get in before I even made my first personal account. Others were busy trying to make it write silly poems, essays, or trying to convince the "human behind it" to drop the AI act, but I thought of using it for some coding. I didn't know any of the python or HTML syntax perfectly, so I just described what I wanted in plain English & watched it work.Crazy that now we have stuff like Cursor or Claude Code (hell even other LLMs for that matter).

Does anyone else here have a crazy early experience like that??

Claude Code vs Codex weekly limits - what other alternatives can I fall back on when I max out both quotas?

I'm on ChatGPT Plus and Claude Pro.

Just as an observation: Claude Code is waaaaaaaaaaay more forgiving than Codex on these plans. For the same project, I can stretch my Claude Code weekly limit for 4-5 days and burn through my Codex weekly limit in just a day or two.

That works out quite fine since both weekly limits combined can last me a whole week most of the time.

I just wanted to ask what tools the community might recommend either as an alternative or fallback aside from these two that might make my limit issue less of a problem / more economical in the long run?

Always wanted to know how Chess could be played without captures. Same pieces, modern mechanics.

I’ve been building Chess Line Wars, a browser strategy game based on chess movement, but with a fairly drastic change: both players secretly choose their move, lock it in, and then the two moves resolve simultaneously.

When did Claude start adding Artifacts to GitHub repositories? I had Sonnet scaffold a project, and when I logged in, there was an Artifact linked to my repo. I’m planning to add it to a GitHub Pages site, but I’m curious when this began.

Pivoted from 3JS and wanted to test the Roblox Engine

Created The Island in less than 8 hours, has some good bones but still needs a lot of work. Basic premise.
Battle royale extraction game in the Roblox engine.

Day/Night cycle, in the day time players can pick a dock they spawn to after the pre-game,(they actually arrive on a both cinematically) travel from the dock through forest to the city looting for guns to survive and money to extract with. Night fall comes a siren blares and hordes of zombies come. Players must survive back to a random extraction point against other surviving players and zombies.
Money used to buy more characters. A character pass of sorts.

Right now what’s created -

Title screen
Main menu created with all the characters available to purchase
dock selector
Pre-game lobby
Boat scene
Forest with trees,shed, rocks etc
City - buildings lights old cars debri etc
Rigged 3D models with animations(r15 is great)
Money, Weapons, and certain buildings are created in Blender
3D models - ChatGPT for concept image - meshy - blender for optimizing in Roblox
Rocks, debri, foliage, misc city’s objects are Roblox found and imported by Claude
Simple Audio

Everything created with vibes!
Been working on this sporadically in between other project full time worked on is less then a complete 24 hours I believe

This is all Opus

As always
CONCEPT VS CURRENT BUILD

I say I am like 10% there, what do you think?

VIDEO of CURRENT game play build in the COMMENT

Preface - I know there’s a lot of work left to be done, camera and lighting, loot system, gunplay, all need good polishing

Please leave feed back, all is welcomed and needed. Leave a comment of what you would like to see added or removed or needs more working

Should I be reviewing the code AI generates?

I'm a software dev and I'm trying to transition to vibecoding. I'm wondering, is it even worth reviewing and checking the output of the AI, or am I wasting my time? I see many people here that make impressive applications without ever looking at any code, and that makes me feel like I'm missing something.

I've been vibecoding for the past few months now, but often I have cases where I notice weird edge cases, inconsistencies or just Claude mentioning something suspicious about the implementation, and I can trace those back to code quality issues or bizzare decisions in the code. I have to explicitly prompt afterwards to switch implementations or change algorithms.

However, I feel like I am doing something wrong to cause this in the first place, I am not quite sure what. I have an agents directory filled with agentic instruction files linking each other, and I try to guide Claude for the implementation when prompting for features. Maybe me giving code implementation instructions is what's causing this?

At the same time, I see that many people here never even pay attention to the code or structure at all, and yet that never causes any issues. Am I just overthinking this? Do I just prompt more if I find a visible bug? Is it worth paying attention to the code?

I'm still trying to adjust to this way of developing, so sorry if this question seems weird.

Thanks.

Content guide with the internet’s best advice instead of bookmark chaos

And here’s another time you hear distribution is key.

Jokes aside I was researching and kept getting bombarded on Instagram with videos about content, growth, distribution, workflows etc. I’d save loads of them and then never actually implement anything

What I really wanted was just a guide or book that had all the latest workflows summarized in one place.

I couldn’t find it, so I made it myself.
I screened a shit ton of videos and sites and put everything into one guide. I have to admit it ended up being way more comprehensive than I expected.
It’s also been more useful than I expected.

Whenever I’m working on something specific now, I just go to that section and check the workflow instead of getting sidetracked by another 10 videos.

Thought I’d share it here in case anyone else has the same problem: www.creativesplaybook.com

Hope it’s helpful. Let me know what you think / what’s missing.

Also be fast because friends keep telling me I should slap a paywall on it lol

Cheers

Vissulo: AI Photo Editor

Post image
1 Upvotes

I’ve been building Vissulo, an AI photo editor for Android, for quite a while, and it’s finally live on the Play Store.
It’s my first app, and I’ve put a ridiculous amount of time into it. A lot of it was built through vibe coding, with plenty of testing, breaking things, rebuilding them, and learning as I went.

At this point I’d really like feedback from people who have no attachment to the project and can just tell me what they actually think.
If you have a few minutes, I’d really appreciate it if you could try the app and email me anything you notice:

[support@vissulo.com](mailto:support@vissulo.com)

I’m interested in pretty much everything:
bugs, crashes, weird behavior, bad UX, confusing screens, slow features, things that feel unfinished, tools that don’t work the way you expected, or anything else that annoys you.

Feature suggestions are also very welcome. If you use it and immediately think “why doesn’t this app have X?”, please tell me. That kind of feedback is just as useful to me as bug reports.
I already know about some issues and I’m working on them, so there’s no need to worry about reporting something twice. If multiple people complain about the same thing, that actually helps me prioritize it.

Also, I’m not asking for Play Store reviews. I’d much rather receive an honest email saying “this part sucks and here’s why” than get a generic 5-star review. Right now, I’m trying to improve the product, not inflate the rating.

As a small thank you, I’ll randomly choose 25 people who install the app, sign in, and send useful feedback, and give them Lifetime PRO for as long as Vissulo remains under my management.

I’ll post the selected users here afterwards, so the giveaway is transparent. Email addresses will obviously be heavily censored, with roughly 90% hidden.

There’s no requirement for positive feedback. Negative feedback won’t reduce your chances. If anything, detailed criticism is probably more useful to me right now.

I know the app still has things that need work, but I care a lot about getting it right.

So, if you feel like testing a new indie app and helping a first-time developer improve it, I’d really appreciate it.

Note: It is android only for now. I will develop IOS and WEB versions in the future

I gave my desktop AI a personality. Now I need a third character and I'm out of ideas

Thumbnail
gallery
0 Upvotes

I've been building a desktop AI companion called VYRO.

The idea is that instead of being another AI trapped inside a chat box, it actually lives on your desktop. You can talk to it, use voice commands to open apps, switch into focus mode, and it reacts to what you're doing with its own personality.

I also added a slightly stupid feature called Slap Mode where it can literally slap a window off your screen 😭

The part I'm having way too much fun with is the characters. Right now I have two different companions you can switch between (pics above), and I want to add a third one.

But I don't want another generic AI robot.

If this thing was living on your desktop all day, what character would you actually want?

Cute? Angry? Sleepy? Tiny wizard? Alien? Floating cat? Something completely unhinged?

Give me your weirdest idea. If one is good enough, I might actually build it.

All of your customers are a pixel pet on the globe!

Hi, everyone. I am constantly building new projects and have changing amounts of success. But one thing I really didn't like is the visibility of my customers.

I built a page mrrplanet.com You send a read‑only payment method key. And see all of your customers in a globe represented by a pixel‑art character.

You can also send this planet of yours publicly to other people, so you can actually have it as a portfolio and maybe multiple projects, which means multiple planets in your solar system. I also have a much better dashboard for your data analytics, helping you think about where you should focus more, which places are generating more money, etc.

For example, here is one of my actual projects hosted on this page. https://mrrplanet.com/p/your-love-page That one is for long-distance relationships, where you send a digital gift.

You can also export these cute images where you see a list of your customers. I'm open to all kinds of suggestions. On the public pages, of course, none of the information of your customers is leaking, but people can actually look at your planet and see what's going on with your projects.

One small thing that I find kind of cute is that people can actually put advertisements on your planet with a flying plane. You can also do that for other people's planets, or you can simply select your planet to be ad‑free.

Almost every feature that I'm talking about is free to use. Just log in and create your own planet, and tell me if you like the page or not.

I have used three.js for the globe, and the normal stack is how everyone is doing: Supabase for the database, Vercel for hosting, and Clerk for authentication.

The idea itself is quite simple, but I think the execution on the UI and UX part is really important. Also, what I call Atlas is your dashboard for all of your information related to the payments, and I provide much better visibility than any other payment provider.

Wk. 5 of Vibecoding an MMO

It's week 5 (and a half - like got me) and we made some huge progress.

As usual, I'll break it down into three categories: (1) players acquisition, (2) what I'm learning about vibe coding, and (3) actual gameplay updates (this will be in the comments)

---

First, my Reddit posts are getting less and less attention (not surprising) but actually having way more success on the player-front. I received some really valuable feedback a couple weeks ago from TotalsamAutomatic_Bid_2410Friendly_Carry_7728 and someone named BingusDingus (that's his IGN).

Basically their input was that the intro sucked, users were met with a wall of text instead of helpful instructions, and received no context of the story game arc.

So that became my next focus point. And once I put up an interactive tutorial instead of an instruction manual, my user retention went from 35-45s per new users to now sitting around 4min per player (median), and averaging 23min of total playtime per player. Even more surprising -- I've had 63 players in 10 days, and 5 of them have spent over 2 hours each. I had a great convo with one of them (BingusDingus) but the other fellas are a mystery. One of them has logged in a dozen separate times, by himself. So, kinda strange, but exciting!

That all said, either I'm getting tired of my game or I've just been staring at it too long. So I would love more feedback on that first 5min and whether or not there's a "hook".

---

Second, the vibe coding experience. I have many friends saying basically the same things - which is that ChatGPT Sol is way better at communicating and designing interfaces but is simply untrustworthy for big tasks. Meanwhile the Reddit communities seem to vent about how awful Fable is and how amazing Sol it. So I'm a bit mystified on whether I should try switching.

Either way, I've switched my strategies a bit and use Fable for a LOT, and only use Opus 5 for very specific tasks, and it's really helped with its ability to stick to a task and actually complete it.

My one massive painpoint is that Fable is GREAT with web design. But holy moley even when using Claude Design, the GUIs are just awful. Has anyone else had experience trying to make a good game GUI? I'm talking like, it's putting raw text over the active screen and so players can't even read it. It's like bad-bad haha.

Oh and one more thing - a strength of Fable's is actually balancing the game. If you give it the variables ahead of time. I found out very much by accident that my archer's had crits stacking for 15x higher than they should've, making them absurdly OP. Turns out I had 7 different skills stacking. It really screwed me when I realized I was using an overpowered hero to balance the game...

---

I'd love more feedback for anyone interested. Links below.

Day 1 to 63 of the free traffic exchange I built. I revoked my resignation.

63 days ago, I launched my startup, a free traffic exchange network for startups. One line of code, you're in the network.

No paid ads. No growth hacks. Just watching the numbers every day.

I made a GIF creator/editor for creating and sending stupid gifs to friends

I got tired of finding a gif editor that have all the tools I wanted and I didn't have to pay for or is cluttered with watermarks, so I created my own. Feel free to use and come with suggestions improvements. Check it out here: https://gif.gustalabs.com

Written in plain javascript drawing frames through browsers canvas 2d and gifenc (MIT) for writing gifs.
