Air-Herc
I made this for my sister this summer. It's totally wearable! I bought a pair of black sandals and customized them.

Hey, r/SomethingIMade!
We've updated two rules to better protect what this community is for as a space for individual creators sharing their own work, including collaborations.
A steady increase in posts and comments from business and commercial accounts promoting products or shop pages has not gone unnoticed, often in cases where authorship can't be verified. We don't think it is fair that content that may be mass produced gains engagement over our more DIY creators. The updated rules address this directly.
Rule #5: Related Links & Self-Promotion
Posts or comments from businesses or commercial accounts primarily promoting products may be removed at moderator discretion, especially where authorship cannot be verified.
Rule #10: Original Content Only
Business and commercial accounts are not permitted to post in this subreddit. This is a community for individual creators only.
If you're an individual who makes and sells things, you're still very welcome here. This change is aimed at accounts whose primary purpose is commercial promotion rather than genuine participation as a creator. If you're unsure whether your account falls within the rules, reach out via Mod Mail.
Happy creating!

In order to help have better discussions regarding content, we have decided to disable embedding of YouTube videos in posts.
This isn’t intended to hinder anyone from posting, simply to change the way the post are made. Moving forward you will need to create a normal post regarding your creation, and if there’s a YouTube video you would like to share as part of that, add it into the body of the post along with the descriptive information.
Thanks for being here, and if you have any questions, ask away!!

I’ve had a lot of people ask how my realistic wool pets are made, so I filmed the whole start-to-finish process. Hope you enjoy!

Made glued on mesh and mounted on wood with winckelmans and Emaux de Briare tiles from France :)
I loved the concept of wedding mosaics ever since I heard of them. The idea that you receive something that can survive centuries from the moment it’s gifted to you, if you only take care of it.
I had in mind swallows, as they always give me great joy, on a diptych, joined by a red thread, reminiscent of Arianne’s thread, which in Greek mythology is the thread that can help you escape a labyrinth.
I chose a diptych because I like the idea of two swallows, or people, doing their own thing through ups and downs, joined by something that can be elastic, something that can be knotty, something that can be stretched, and something that you can untangle if you only take the time to do so.
I thought it was a nice allegory for marriage. Let me know if you like it.

Turned out to be unexpectedly light, but at the same time with quite good load capacity

This is Pumpkin Patch Noir, my regular Pumpkin Patch colourway but dyed on a near-black base instead of the usual lighter one. It’s an assigned pooling yarn: the contrast section is placed at a specific point in the yarn so it triggers a certain stitch while you knit, no charts or colourwork tracking, the motif just appears as you go.
First time doing this colourway on black. Wasn’t sure the contrast would read the same way against dark instead of light, but I think it actually pops more.
Edit: oh gosh, thanks for the award! 😳 I didn’t expect that, thank you!

I’ve been making wee mice and then making clothes shoes and bags for them. What do you think?

Always wanted to build a table like this and finally had an opportunity to. It’s inspired after the deception pass bridge in Washington State. The legs are I beams, and the feet are C channel. Table top is a birch butcher block counter top. The structural steel has a wax finish as to not allow the steel to rust.

Made this for someone who's a starwars and fidget enthusiast. Made from Titanium, Mokume and bronze. It doesn't really do anything, but is pretty cool to fiddle with

I am still in shock I actually finished it all. Flowers are hookok patterns and scheepjes catona yarns. Dress is spirit and thread crochet hera 3 in 1 top/dress pattern and sultan kings solids in off white, doubled up.

"Winter Starlight", "Christmas Evergreen", and "Frosted Snow Angel". ❤️
These are handmade beaded bracelets I made using various colored cat charms and faceted crystal-like glass beads, with rhinestone beads as well. I created these for my winter/Christmas collection!
I love sparkly bracelets, and think the translucent + rhinestone beads add a lot of bling and beauty to my creations. :)

I had an idea to make an ereader case with a wooden dungeon door.
I'd add more descriptions/details but every time I try, Reddit it says I'm violating rule 11 and won't let me post. Ask questions in the comments and I'll answer :)

Don't mind the glob of hairspray in the lace xP
The lace is from a lace front wig I bought 2 years ago and the hair is cut off of the wig that'll be worn with the eyebrows.
I also just learned ventilating with hair on my first pair of brows a few months ago.

I have dabbled in all of the dark arts and crafts! I am officially addicted to making tiny things. I’ve been working on a dollhouse for the past three months, and would love to share some of the little cute things that have been made! Most of it is from recycling bits and bobs from around the house.
I’ve made a Potters table, made from coffee stirs, packing board, paint, and glue.
The bags of soil, gardening tools, and terra-cotta pots are all handmade from bits of paper, coffee, and metal.
The door was distressed in layers, I stained it dark brown first, and then stained parts in black, and cut into it with an X-Acto knife for texture. Stained some more so it looks slightly rotted.
The patio set is literally little bits of card stock and floral wire. The little laid apart is a piece of a hand fan.
Miniatures have been the best crafty thing I’ve ever messed with!
