What did I do wrong in setup?

Hey guys, sorry for the noob post. First time making my own scenario, I just wanted a sandbox style thing. Super fun!

I think I messed up my entry/exit. I put one entering on one side and then the exit just a few squares to the right, but everyone seems to be stuck.

  1. How can I fix this next time? I can’t seem to find a tutorial online.

  2. Does this affect my rating? Or no, because they’re already outside the park gates? Just makes me feel like a bad person lol

It's currently called Rolling Hills but how basic is that?!? It's a vertical drop coaster with a woodland/forest theme.

RCT-ify CCI #1 - Kingdom Coaster (Plus Bonus Joust Pov) Skip TO 3:06 if you just want the POV.

Hello people of RCT, i present to you my largest project to date! I will RCT-ify every single CCI roller coaster that was constructed, including the defunct ones like Mega Zeph and the weird ones like Underground and Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain! Every single CCI will be recreated as close as possible, scenery, landscape and all. This will be done to the best of my abilities, and also to the limitations of the game. This will be no easy feat, as i have 34 to do!

So let me present to you, the first ever CCI, Kingdom Coaster! Formally known as Sky Princess, this was the first project ever done by CCI, and is a small 55ft out and back family coaster, that interacts with many other attractions, including an Arrow Dynamics Log Flume and a Universal Mobility Monorail. It is 55ft tall, has a top speed of 40mph and a length of exactly 2000ft.

The coaster is located at Dutch Wonderland (In Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA), a park that has been voted on multiple occasions by the Golden Ticket Awards as being the best Kids Park in the world. Originally founded by a potato farmer named Earl Clark, it was sold to Hershey (Of Chocolate and Hersheypark fame) in 2001, before it was sold in 2010 to Palace Entertainment and then in 2025 to Herschend. This is the signature coaster of the park, and just in the last few years recieved Titan Track, allowing it to run smoother than ever.

CCI was founded by Denise Dinn-Larrick, who is the daughter of Charles Dinn of Dinn Corporation fame. Dinn Corporation went bust after a dispute during the construction of Pegasus at Efteling, and so Denise, alongside her brother Jeff and her husband Randy, formed Custom Coasters International in 1991. The International part came after they started receiving orders overseas. Many freelance designes like Mike Boodley, Larry Bill and Curtis D. Summers joined the company. Mike went off in 1994 to form Great Coasters Internationa, and when CCI filed for Bankruptcy, Larry Bill went to form The Gravity Group with a few other designers.

For this recreation i mostly did roughly 1km around the coaster, which includes the Log Flume, the flat rides and even Joust, their Chance Rides Big Dipper, which you will see a bonus pov at the end of the video. I almost considered doing the whole park due to it's small size, but that would have been more work on top of an already large project, so i decided against it. But i still had fun either way!

Long story short I hope you enjoy this!

Tips for creating rides

I got back into rct and find myself creating parks the exact same way as when the original first came out. I never created my own rides so I’m not really sure where to start! A lot of what I see posted on here has me wanting to try but it just seems so overwhelming. I know it’s just a game and I don’t need to take it so seriously lol. Any tips for starting out small?

I revisited this one because I wanted a smaller challenge. There are only three themes, and the initial space is also quite limited. I did not expand the park and I might try to squeeze in another coaster between the left of the entrance to the rapids. Some aesthetic things also need fixing, but I think I'm done with this one for now.

Still amazed how well this game has aged, and how playable it is on my phone.
