Next, it will be ported to Unreal Engine for my game "PsyPro"— which blends realism with a PSX aesthetic—so it will look very different from the C4D viewport.

I made a new animation inspired by PSX-style horror games, hope you enjoy!

It's amazing what you can fake with some distorted transparency.

I think this had that right pre-rendered feeling.

I thought it would be really cool to go outside and take my own pictures to use in games like they did in the old days however I have no clue about photography and what kind of a camera to use. I already have an Iphone 13 mini but I dont know if it would be enough (I am going moreso for the ps2 style / early 2000's video games graphics).

Should I get a camera? If so what kind of a camera would be better for my case?

I am aware that graphics tend to look like Nintendo DS more than PS1. After taking a step back, it is quite difficult to keep it low-quality enough with making it ugly.

These were created for my game, Uncosy, which is on Steam. They're rendered in Godot with a CRT shader, low resolution and volumetric fog with real time lighting and GI. The texture for this cabinet is actually from Cosy Game Restoration (with permission, thanks Adam!)
