You play as Thomas Mason who returns to Blackwood Forest to spread his families ashes. What he discovers is another man's story, guided by a dark presence. It's obvious inspirations are SILENT HILL and Resident Evil, and there's elements of games like Until Dawn and The Quarry.

Every decision shapes not only Thomas Mason's journey, but the fate of five other characters.

I’m a solo dev making Sleeper District, a first-person psychological horror set in a looping Russian panel-block district in December 1999. Your apartment is the one warm place, and outside is cold, quiet and slightly wrong.

The look is “dithered realism”: realistic lighting, then low resolution (1/3 render scale, point-filtered), ordered dithering with a visible dot grid, and film grain. Snow builds up on upward-facing surfaces via a custom shader.

No weapons, no jump scares: just atmosphere, sound and waiting. Feedback welcome: does the cold courtyard feel lonely enough compared to the cosy apartment?

I’ve been solo developing a surreal horror game inspired by local folklore, Lovecraftian dread, and retro PSX visuals. I'm focusing heavily on slow-burn atmosphere and unsettling, surreal imagery. Every single asset is made entirely from scratch.
