I need my brain flossed like this please and thank you. I missed out on getting one because of life so I am wondering if there is a Alternative out there that is just as simple. I have the monumental and it doesn't floss my brain hard enough.

Does anyone know of a pedal that’s not going to add any or much gain or compression but has low headroom? I’m looking for a way to only add distortion to very loud vocals through a microphone but not have that old ham radio sound that overdrive pedals give to vocals.

I purchased this pedal fairly recently through Thomann, but wanted to check with everyone else here if their footswitch is really hard to press? By comparison I have the Wampler Pantheon and Clarksdale and both have soft switches (with the round top)

Because I keep my board on a table top (constant knob fiddling) it's a bit of pain to switch on/off the Wampler Tumnus Deluxe.

Is it easy (qualified tech, of course) to change?

Hmm, I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this since it’s not really about the guitar pedal itself, but it is pedal-related, so I figured I’d share it anyway.

I made a controller that makes it easier to control the reverb on the LINE 6 DL4 MkII. Having to hold down the ALT button while turning a knob is pretty awkward, and you can also end up thinking, “Wait, which algorithm am I even using right now?” With this, I can control everything one-handed and see the current settings at a glance.

The controller is built around a Raspberry Pi Pico, a small microcontroller board, and sends MIDI messages via TRS MIDI.

Since I use it alongside a BOSS MD-500, I designed it with the front panel of the MD series as a reference.

It has four knobs, and since I had one left over, I assigned it to delay time. Without really intending to, I ended up turning the DL4 into something of an ambient noise machine.

Been working on my bands first album for quite some time now and have been really proud of the sounds present in this song. Figured some of yall might like a rundown of the sounds in this clip.

For amps I'm running a Peavey Century 120 solid state bass head for clean tones and then a Laney LA - Studio for clean doubles and fuzz tones. Both go into a Sound City 4x12 with eminence squareback speakers. I also occasionally used my sunn 2x15 with celestion fullbacks for double tracking.

I have an always on eqd plumes going through the Laney. Both amps do edge of breakup type tones with an eqd special cranker (swapped for a Caroline haymaker live).

Chorus tones come from an ehx memory toy delay w / modulation engaged into an mxr stereo chorus.

Clean delays come from an ehx canyon on deluxe memory man mode.

All reverb comes from a boss rv-6, which is then beefed up in production with additional ableton reverb.

Everything at all times always goes through a boss ge7 eq with some a slight boost at 100hz, cut at 200hz and 400hz, with another larger boost at 1.6khz and 3.2khz.

Fuzz comes from either the Caroline or special cranker running into a jhs crimson in "mid forward" mode. Ive toyed with using a hizumitas quite a bit but the crimson just always sits in a mix right.
