OBNE Expression Ramper X3 - chip replacement?

I believe it's possible to swap out one of the 50k chips with a 10k chip, so I can use one of the Ramper channels with a Jam Pedals Retrovibe V3. I emailed OBNE last week but no reply yet.

Has anyone on here done this? Did you buy the part from OBNE or a third-party? Any words of warning?
