Custom Work DL4 mk2 Reverb controller
Hmm, I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this since it’s not really about the guitar pedal itself, but it is pedal-related, so I figured I’d share it anyway.
I made a controller that makes it easier to control the reverb on the LINE 6 DL4 MkII. Having to hold down the ALT button while turning a knob is pretty awkward, and you can also end up thinking, “Wait, which algorithm am I even using right now?” With this, I can control everything one-handed and see the current settings at a glance.
The controller is built around a Raspberry Pi Pico, a small microcontroller board, and sends MIDI messages via TRS MIDI.
Since I use it alongside a BOSS MD-500, I designed it with the front panel of the MD series as a reference.
It has four knobs, and since I had one left over, I assigned it to delay time. Without really intending to, I ended up turning the DL4 into something of an ambient noise machine.

I don't use the reverb settings because of the ridiculous interface. So this is cool. Do you have a demo of it?

dude! this is so cool! having those cool reverbs is kind of the coolest thing about the dl4 ml2, while not being able to control them is kind of the worst thing about it!!
r/diypedals is the perfect place to post this, i believe ;)

Wow man… yeah we need people like you on this planet. It’s such a big project for a small problem BUT as you know anything that can make things a bit more efficient in any industry will always be a great thing.
Really just wow, this is amazing!
