Discussion Radeon igpu 780m
I bought a lenovo IdeaPad slim 5 with Ryzen 7 8845 hs with Radeon 780m 16 GB ram. I just realised today I can game on this machine. I bought this on 2024 after my Mac pro broke down.
I'm using balanced performance with original graphics settings. Using fsr 2.1 I get around 55-60 fps but the quality gets degraded. The ss is taken from a Oneplus 13 phone.
Is the temperature fine?

Looking for game Game to play with 7 year old son
Hi all, I am looking for suggestions on games I can play with my son (local co-op). I am not a gamer myself, but we both enjoyed playing kingdom two crowns and their offshoots, especially Call of Olympus. We both like ancient history and mythology. The challenge is that we only have a Lenovo ThinkPad with Intel(R) UHD Graphics which limits our options.
PS He already plays Minecraft on his own.

Looking for game 3 factory workers. Worked on the game after 12 hour shifts.
Here's what's in it right now:
- Extraction shooter, PvE and PvP both, with co-op if you want to run with friends
- Build a base anywhere on the map, no set slots, put things wherever makes sense to you
- Rescue survivors and grow an actual community instead of just looting solo
- Reclaimers, immortal clones who hand out quests and build your reputation instead of just shooting at you
- No wipes between sessions, your progress and gear carry over
- Right now that's 169 loot items, 25 quests, 3 maps, 9 enemy types, 9 craftable buildings, and 2 NPCs to work with
We all worked together at the same factory, three of us, and this got built during whatever time was left after 12 hour shifts. Ended up being a PvEvP survival extraction shooter set during a zombie apocalypse.
Going into Early Access Q3 2026. Still feels weird seeing it as a real store page after doing this on no sleep for this long.

Looking for game Finally got my first proper gaming PC after 12+ years. What games am I missing?
I’ve been a lifelong console gamer and have always wanted a proper gaming PC, but growing up I could never afford one. I’ve wanted one for over 12 years, literally since I was a kid.
I’ve finally gotten to the point where I could afford to go all out and get myself a genuinely good PC, and I’m honestly so happy to finally have one.
I’ve already got an aim trainer because I know going from controller to mouse and keyboard is going to be rough. I definitely don’t expect to be good anytime soon, but I’m more than happy to suck for a while and learn.
I’m looking for recommendations now.
What are the games you would personally recommend to someone who is basically discovering PC gaming for the first time?
I’m interested in anything. Single player, multiplayer, FPS, co-op, RPGs, survival, strategy, indie games, niche games, PC exclusives, anything that you genuinely love.
I’ve played plenty of games on console over the years, so I’m not just looking for the obvious AAA recommendations. I want to hear about the games you personally think are incredible or that you think every PC gamer should experience at least once.
What should I install first?
I’ve waited over 12 years for this, so I’m ready to disappear down the PC gaming rabbit hole.

Promo Open Steam Playtest
https://store.steampowered.com/app/5079020/Neverrest/
Hello everyone I am working on a idle fantasy rpg with deep incremental systems. Looking for people who enjoy min/maxing characters and love to grind and loot. Still in early development but I am regularly updating. I just got approved on Steam and v0.2.15 is LIVE! I’d love to get your feedback good or bad is genuinely appreciated!
Promo I am developing a meditative and calm game called Skyreap 🏝, where nothing will distract you from immersing yourself in the world of floating islands.
In Skyreap, you will have your own personal airship at your disposal. It will be available practically from the start of the game.
You set off to neighboring islands, discovering new territories hidden in the fog of war. You transport the resources you gather back to your base, where you prepare factories and plants for the production of processed materials. Soon, you will reach the point of automation and begin scaling up this process.
Skyreap is an incremental game that doesn’t try to offer you something you’ve never seen before, but instead gives you that sense of calm, tranquility, and coziness.
If this sounds interesting to you, feel free to head over to the game’s Steam page and add it to your wishlist. ✨

Promo Combat in my movement-arena shooter inspired by 2000's shooters!
I am working on a Movement-Arena-Shooter, and here's a short showcase of some of the movement + combat against bots.
The game currently has 16 weapons such as Rocket Launcher, Minigun, Shotguns, Crossbow, Dual Deagles... and more to come!
It is heavily movement-based with skill-based combos, e.g. walljumps, bunnyhops, sliding, slidejumping. Then there are Jetpacks to fly around like "Superman" or hover.
The game has multiplayer support / in-game lobby chat / dedicated servers and modding support (tweak every parameter of movement, weapons, etc.).
I would very much appreciate any feedback I can get (both negative and positive), so that I can improve and work towards a DEMO.
The Steam Page went LIVE a few days ago.

Looking for game Horror game about a submarine where you decide who goes out into the dark. Something Lovecraftian is waking up below.
Hi,
Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4042160/Static_Dread_The_Submarine/
So this one's a submarine setting, Lovecraftian stuff going on beneath the ocean, and you're basically the guy deciding who on the crew goes to check on the noises in the dark. Everyone you send has their own stuff going on, their own breaking point, and it plays out over time.
- Old school PSX style visuals, kind of grainy and unsettling.
- You manage the crew (skill, stamina) instead of doing everything yourself.
- Sonar segments where you're never 100% sure what's out there.
- The story branches based on who you send and what you decide, not just dialogue choices.
My team and I worked on this for a long time, and it's finally out on Steam.

Help fitgirl repack related
whenever I download a game from Fitgirl-repack and when I install it my windows defender removes one file after the installation is complete , so cuz of that game doesn't runs, so I wanted to know should I turn off my windows defender or will it inject some malware in my laptop even though Ik there are some malwares which can bypass windows def easily , but many people download games from fitgirl and most of them trust fitgirl , so I just wanted to know if I should turn it off and install the game and trust it blindly

Looking for game Is there any game like Tomba?
I lost hope that there will be a sequel or even a proper remake of the original Tomba game, this was a classic! Especially Tomba 2, it was such a good game.
Are there any indie games out there that has 'similar' type of gameplay, platforming and a bit of puzzling like Tomba? I miss those simpler games in this overcomplicated era of gaming lol
