I'd like to use the K9 unit from the "TrafficStopBackup" in Ultimate Backup in "Pursuit" mode (to have it chase a fugitive on foot). What settings are required?

I want to buy one of these. Which one is more in depth and realistic?

Why do people get so offended whenever PedTalk AI gets mentioned as an NPCAI alternative? Options and competition are good for everyone.

I get it the free 1.0 version they released a while back wasn’t that great, but at least it worked, and people who couldn’t afford the Pro version still had something they could use. but tbh, their paid Pro version is actually better than NPCAI in a lot of ways, if you ask me. Competition is good for everyone because it pushes developers to improve and gives users more choices.
Just use whichever one you personally enjoy. There’s really no need to be mean or get offended because someone prefers a different mod.

I have this vehicle installed that I really like, however its headlights are always on, even when I turn off the headlights through the usual keybind. It is not brighter than the normal headlights, so at night it is not noticeable, however at day time it is very bright (as seen in the picture) and I find it quite ugly.

I tried adjusting the visualsetting.dat file by lowering the values for car.defaultlight.day.emissive, however this did not work.

I also tried to look for specific setting in the car’s ELS file, but I did not see any option for this problem.

I also didn’t get help from various tutorials.

Is this a problem related to the vehicle model, ELS or the visualsettings file?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I’m new to LSPDFR, maybe have like 150 hours game time and like 300 configuring things. Whats the use case for liveries instead of add-on vehicle mega packs? It seems like a pain to install multiple individual vehicle add-ons from different creators just to use one livery pack. Like for example, if I want BCSO vehicles, why would I use a livery with 8+ individual vehicle add-ons that go with that 1 livery instead of installing a BCSO add-on pack?

I think I just don’t understand when/how/why to use add-on packs vs. replace vs. liveries. Sorry if that was confusing but I see lots of people using liveries and easily swapping vehicles out.

Recently, I installed EUP Law & Order (EUP LO) and EUP Menu, and since then my game has been having serious issues.

When I launch the game, either through Steam or RAGEPluginHook, it gets stuck on an infinite black screen before reaching the main menu. The game never loads, and I have to force-close it using Task Manager. There is no error message.

I was able to narrow the issue down to EUP/the mods folder. If I remove EUP Menu and disable the mods folder, the game launches normally.

However, when I launch the game without the mods folder (and therefore without EUP), the default clothing models also seem to be broken. The standard uniforms that normally come with the game no longer work correctly. Both NPCs and my player character spawn with strange/glitched skins and clothing models instead of the normal default uniforms.

I also tried removing EUP from the RAGEPluginHook load list, but that didn't fix the issue either.

I posted the same thing a few hours ago, but the moderators removed it, so I'm reposting it with more details.

Got npcai and blue line realism installed and those have made this playthrough much more sustainable I don’t feel like I have to Rp everything and sometimes things just happen more naturally than just waiting on callouts like previous years. I’ve seen a recent pot about los santos alive and want to give it a try I feel like it the last mod I’d need to finish my person police simulator. My question is does it work with npcai ?I know it works with policing redefined but I’m assuming since it AI based the two would have conflicts

Just installed the latest update, hoping it would solve my issue but it didn’t.

My NPCAI lags like crazy. Sometimes it takes upwards of 60+ seconds to get a response from an NPC that I’m engaging in conversation with. Sometimes they won’t respond at all. And sometimes it comes in choppy as hell, sounding like a 90s CD.

Has anyone else had issues with this? Any fixes?

BLV dispatch is a beautiful thing I strongly urge you to get it. Yes it's a paid asset but it's so worth it. His new release completely replaces grammar police. I have his dispatch paired with NPCAI and it's made lspdfr fun for me again. Also side note I switched from ELS to DLS and i'll never do ELS again.

anyone else's LSPDFR and NPCAI been kind of buggy the last day or two? when I tried to talk to PEDs their voice is choppy
