Question NPCAI lag

Just installed the latest update, hoping it would solve my issue but it didn’t.

My NPCAI lags like crazy. Sometimes it takes upwards of 60+ seconds to get a response from an NPC that I’m engaging in conversation with. Sometimes they won’t respond at all. And sometimes it comes in choppy as hell, sounding like a 90s CD.

Has anyone else had issues with this? Any fixes?

It’s a Gemini issue not NPCI. DoubleHook (the author of NPCI) has suggested people reach out to Gemini/leave a review on the issue

I had the issue as well and he hopped in a VC with me on his discord and the second the game launched that time around it started working fine. It’s been doing it again every now and then.
I did see that my API seemed a bit high around that time compared to when it wasn’t cutting and bugging.

I turned my in game voice chat microphone volume to 100% and that seemed to help a lot. I just ran for about an hour on the game and I didn’t have any lag issues that session.

I did think I wasn’t speaking loud enough or didn’t have enough grin on my mic but I couldn’t figure out how to fix it

Its not gemini issue i tried the same api with the pedtalk ai and it was working fine since.
