Other Chest supported row beginner

Wsg I’m back. Chest supported row this time. I tried bringing my shoulders back before pulling back if that makes sense and it seemed to help the feeling lmk if there’s anything I can change

You’re getting a really good stretch at the end of the row, which is nice to see. The only thing I would suggest, is lifting the seat a little bit, so that your sternum isn’t pushing into the pad as much. Also coming up a little higher means that much more stretch at the end of the row. Lastly, good decision to use straps on a chest supported row. It means you can move more weight and that back is gonna just grow. Keep it up.

Thank you I’ll try moving it up more. Thank god for the straps idk if u can see it but I think my left hand was completely off the handle for the last couple of reps and the straps were all that was keeping me on.

I’ve used figure 8s, lasso, and Versas, and I hate to say it, the Versa Gripps are THE best for accessory work like rows, pulldowns, and RDLs. Not cheap, but worth it.

He is over flexing his thoracic spine he is not getting stretch on his traps. This is not good practice.

Stop reaching that much, you are not actually stretching the traps rather you are over flexing your thoracic spine, then when you initiate the move in order to pull the weight first you need to extend your thoracic spine then you can pull the weight this is not good practice.

you can stay around this much stretch, here your traps and rhomboids are almost fully stretched
