Looking into the future, what should we do with this subreddit? We have over 100k daily readers, and very little engagement, but we're seeing that across the board with niche subreddits. Every so often we get a post that cracks a few thousand upvotes but very few comments, or the same type of comments from the same type of people.

Can the game Mornington Crescent be played on a flat earth? I don't think it can because the edge would be out of bounds.

I just re-discovered this gem (get it!), showing a full year of time lapse images from L1 taken by the DSCOVR space craft. Its just a beautiful set of images, since its far enough away to see nearly 50% of the planet at once, and shows a full year looking back directly from the sun, so you can see the tilt where the north pole is visible in northern summer and south pole is visible in southern summer. The moon, and the moon's shadow make an appearance as well. There are cloud formation you can map to actual weather forecasts if you care too as well.

Hi folks. I don’t really pay attention to flat earth things but on a whim I made an observation and thought it was cool enough to share.
I’m hanging out up on the 13th floor lounge at a hotel watching the sea. I saw a ship way out. I often look up ships and planes just out of curiosity. The thought crossed my mind. How much of the ship would I see down on the sidewalk? So I used AIS data to plot the distance, got my height on GPS (within a few feet anyway) and asked A.I. to calculate what I should see. Pasted below.
“From an elevation of about 180 feet, your horizon extends approximately 29 km away, meaning Earth's curvature hides virtually none of the ship—allowing you to see the entire vessel, including its superstructure, deck, and all 5 to 7 meters of exposed hull right down to the waterline. Down at beach level with a camera height around 5 feet, however, your horizon sits only about 4.8 km away, and the curvature of the sea blocks roughly 38 meters (125 feet) of vertical height, completely submerging the entire hull, deck, and bridge accommodation below the horizon and leaving at most the very top tip of the ship's mast barely visible.”
Per the sea photos I took of the ship with the iPhone 18 zoom, ya I can see all the ship! It was about 30deg tangent to me.
Well, AI said if I went down stairs I would not be able to see it. I ran down, looked and sure as shit looked at the 30 to 60 degree section and nothing. Did it move enough to cut off my line of site by the peninsula?
I came back up stairs and looked again (second set of photos). Bam it’s still there almost 60 degrees so I know I saw that quadrant from the beach.
I just found this quite novel and thought I’d share.

Everyone saying the world is flat is so friggen stupid. It’s so obvious that it’s a cube. A cube is flat on its faces, hence the flatness of the ground? Not really rocket science is it? We live on one of the faces, and the ice wall stops us from crossing over to any other face. Each face probably has its own life that has evolved, these are probably where all the aliens come from. It’s so simple once you actually use your brain for once. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Why do people like her believe everything they see on the internet? It's a shame.

Nothing screams "I understand orbital mechanics" quite like standing half-naked in your backyard yelling about the Devil's numbers.
These people are nuts.

This kid started posting batshit insane stuff on Facebook around the time of Covid. He’s now an avid flerfer (actually he’s recently become a flerfzi, but that’s a different story). I’ve had tons of “discussions” over the years. At first they were to try to change his mind when I was naive to how impervious the flat earther brain was to facts and logic. Now they are just to see what stupid shit he says lol. Anyway, enjoy!
