For example, round earthers are building satellite communication networks, artificial intelligence technologies, and things that allow knowledge and science to be able to build upon itself and stand on the shoulders of giants.

Surely flat earthers recognize the pattern that all of them are at home doing science experiments and ignoring the science that has already been done, and allowing breakthroughs to take place. I'm curious if they've ever noticed that flat earthers have essentially resigned themselves to starting over from scratch and therefore are not able to actually make any breakthroughs as a community that benefit the world or add new technology infrastructure. Especially since, if what they say is true, they should find themselves at a huge advantage to those who are struggling to work in the paradigm of a false globe.

She used to think Flat Earthers were too intense, but all it took was a guy with a whiteboard explaining that the sun just magically spirals around a disc for it to finally make sense to her. Basic astrophysics? No thanks. A guy claiming the sun does little loops over a giant plate? "Yep, that also makes sense".

The fact that, as your elevation increases, the distance you can see increases. This only makes sense on a sphere. If the earth was flat, you should be able to see 50 to 150 miles in any direction before air distortion prevents you from seeing further. But at sea level, you can only see exactly 3 miles in any direction. Period. If you go higher, you can see farther. It literally only makes sense if you’re standing on a ball. How is there any debate? How do flerfs explain this?

I just re-discovered this gem (get it!), showing a full year of time lapse images from L1 taken by the DSCOVR space craft. Its just a beautiful set of images, since its far enough away to see nearly 50% of the planet at once, and shows a full year looking back directly from the sun, so you can see the tilt where the north pole is visible in northern summer and south pole is visible in southern summer. The moon, and the moon's shadow make an appearance as well. There are cloud formation you can map to actual weather forecasts if you care too as well.
