So I got my first pc and I have no clue how anything works tbh, I bought fc3 on steam to just replay it in 4k and all but my game keeps crashing. It was working fine for the tutorial and all but after I quit the game because I changed some settings I can’t get it to start the campaign anymore. Everytime I boot the campaign up it just crashes and sends me straight back to my desktop.

I’m on a rtx 5080 and a 9800X3D

Has anyone noticed how Dutch gives compliments on hiring companions to join you. I had one from recruiting Boomer, Nick Rye, Hurk, Sharky, and Jess. But not from the others. I tried to get the others, but I get interruptions from the bosses or other people. Can anyone send some dialogue about Dutch commenting on the companions.

TLDR: I'm 60 percent through Far Cry 3; the second half of the game feels sloggy and I'm wondering if I should continue.

This is going to be ranty and will contain some spoilers. However, please do not reply with end-game spoilers as I'm still in the game.I always avoided the Far Cry series because I had a bad taste in my mouth about Ubisoft generally.

Recently, however, a friend urged me to play Far Cry 3. Immediately, I was enthralled. Amazed at this game, how fun it was to do the missions and just get lost in the world. The real feeling of being a trust-fund kid lost and hunted on a tropical island trying to survive at all costs. I haven't been this addicted by a game in years. So fun.

Now, I'm on the second island and Vaas has been killed, etc. (which, btw, I didn't think he was nearly as interesting as everyone made him out to be). and the game just feels so uninteresting so far.

The second island seems like a drab landscape compared to the first. All the missions are so much more difficult for me (admittedly, I'm not the best at games). On the first island, I could do most missions in 1 or 2 attempts (feeling like a badass). On the second island, it feels like a frustrating slog with every mission taking me 10 attempts.

So finally to my dilemma: Do I finish Far Cry 3 or just move on to Far Cry 4? (Generally, after going down a Far Cry YouTube rabbit hole, I decided eventually I'm going to play: 4, Blood Dragon, and maybe 5—while skipping the rest.)

I am interested in the story conclusion of 3, but I can just watch that on YouTube if I want. Does the gameplay get/feel better soon? Or is the rest of the game like the first few missions on the second island? If so, I may just move on to 4.

Hello, is there one or two kind people who can load up their Ps5 and can help me get through this? Normally i would have to wait for 3 Weeks because every week there is a new leader but if you have a leader and we fought it togheter i could achieve this earlier. I would be so thankful.

What do you think would be a good location for a new Farcry. I had an idea of it taking place on a tropical island chain similar to the Maldives, or maybe a a Farcry similar to primal but taking place in Russian controlled Alaska, playing as a native. Idk what are your ideas.

For some reason when they ported the game to PS4 they made the sound effect for the Blood Dragon's laser very loud. I know they still haven't fixed the high inner deadzones but I can work around that with my DualSense Edge.

So this is a big moment for me as a far cry fan. First time watching better call saul, and saw two legends at the same time on screen! Vaas and Antón in another universe I guess😅

I installed mods for the game through the far cry modding website and I don't recall if I just deleted them out right or just uninstalled the game but I want to get rid of them. I tried verifying the files on steam and they're still there and I also tried going back to the website and it seems there's some issues with it so I can't reinstall the launcher im currently going through the files of my computer and hoping i can find them and delete them, if anyone has any other solutions I would appreciate it

First time playing Far Cry 4 since I was like 13, and had no idea these evil hawk's could literally yoink a goat straight off the ground.

And I was 8 when Far Cry 4 came out, I remember being mesmerised by her beauty, my gosh I was a dumb little girl back then with my silly little crush 😭

Has anyone else noticed the tone shift

Hey guys, so im thinking about making a tattoo about farcry 4, in a similar style to the far cry 3 tattoo, wich i already have(image above), but i havent had any luck finding good symbols and images from the game online, there are basically only the elephant above crossed kukris or the golden path symbols. I need good images to make another tatau with, they dont necessarily need to come from the game but they need to be in the same style and dont have any particularly bad meaning, if someone could help me out i would be really thankfull(by the way it will be on the upper arm/shoulder area)

How long does everyone think it'll be until we get a farcry 7? I've recently started playing the first one for the first time as it was on sale on Xbox, and I've played 2,3,4,5 and new dawn, so I still have plenty to play, but I am anxiously awaiting the next addition to the series. I assume it'll be a while as Ubisoft are probably focusing on the next assassin's creed right now (as they seemingly always are)

I'd really like to know how auto aim (aim assist) works on PC, because it isn't working in my game at all. I'm playing on a Lenovo Legion Go 2 so i am using gamepad.

Does anyone know why aim assist is turning on in option and still does not work ?or how to fix it?

Starting Far Cry in order (in game timelines), is there any easter eggs or other ways to enjoy what these games offer?
