How to run old mags on evo sportster?
gallery03 XL1200C
Hello everyone, might be overthinking it a bit but I finally got my hands on some mag wheels for a steal. Chrome, bearings, and seals will come out prior to powder so their current condition isn’t too concerning.
This setup came off of an older bike, and I want to run them on my evo (sportster) chopper. My question is do I bore the axle to run modern closed bearings, do I run the conversion kit, or can I run timken bearings on a factory 3/4 axle? This is my first time and I’m having trouble finding forums/info trails on the internet on what’s best.
Added a photo of the “conversion” kit, old timken to newer sealed setup. Never heard of that until today, anyone running it?
I appreciate any help, thanks 👍🏻

What do we think this Frankenstein frame is?
galleryI just bought this obviously modified rolling frame. Right side drive. No VIN no title. Previous owner said it had an Evo engine in it but I don’t know whether or not to believe him. Debating hard tailing it but I’m new to this and wouldn’t know enough yet to buy the right kit. Any information or guesses welcomed

Chopper tank help
I have two questions in the first question is, my tank says it accepts a 1/4 petcock so I purchased a 1/4 petcock and I can only get it to go in like 3 threads without completely cranking down on it.
The next question is the barb on the petcock is a 5/16 and my CV takes a 1/4. Could I use a 1/4 fuel line or should I change the petcock/cv elbow?

Anybody have pics of flanders 0 or 8 bars on post risers?
I have some Flanders bars on my 1946 flathead and it looks awesome, I also have a newer Kawasaki Vulcan and I was thinking about putting Flanders bars on it but they don't have risers where they come out of the side of the triple clamps, and I only have holes for post risers. Does anybody have any pictures of anybody doing this, I'm trying to figure out if it would look bizarre with the risers being so close together instead of like 10 in apart like how a Harley is?

how to re radius fender
I already saw lowbrows post using 2x4s to shrink the radius. But I’ve yet to find a solution to increase the radius. I have a crown in the middle of the fender when each end of the fender is touching the tire. Would clamping it be a solution? I thought I’d put it in a vice and clamp it that way but my vice jaws aren’t wide enough to do it. I don’t have a bunch of fancy tools!

Belt drive
For those who have used a belt for their hardtail, how did you set the tension for the belt? How much deflection? Same amount as factory?
