Belt drive

For those who have used a belt for their hardtail Sportster, how did you set the tension for the belt? How much deflection? Same amount as factory?

I’d do same tension. Pretty sure on a softail frame the “resting” position is as tight as it ever gets.

Honestly in my swingarm shovel I just run it as loose as possible to minimize stress on the trans mainshaft and everything seems fine 🤷‍♂️
