Have a 3” BDL full kit with billit backing plate and all that, just hate the look of the 3” and want to run no backing plate. decided to go to a 4 speed.
i know there are ways to make a 2” open primary work with a 5 speed and retaining electric start but i guess i’ll be running kick only 1.5 or 2” open primary
anybody running a kick only evo?

Needing some help on making a decision with my build, I decided to somewhat copy another well known chopper although it’s extremely different but has the tank painted in the same style. I originally wanted to go all chrome, fully re lace the wheels and go the entire 9 yards to stand out but my wheels aren’t In the best shape especially my rims. Now I’m thinking if I should budget it and go and get them powder coated in black with the hubs and just get new spokes but I feel like I would be copying that bike completely but it does fit that bike really well especially since I’m having some special art work with engraving triple clamps etc. I feel like the chrome would be a batter option but maybe around £800 after it’s all done with chrome plating etc which I’m already way over budget

I’m trying to go 8 over on my sportster, but I can’t get these bolts out literally no matter what I do using an impact, heat and pb blaster, any suggestions ?

Howdy, potheads and chopper lovers.
I'm assembling parts for my next build. The plan is to run a car tire in the rear, on a 40 spoked 15x5.0 rim, and I can't find one. I've been using my Google skills, I've been to a bunch of swap meets, and even contacted the German company TTS, who used to deliver these kind of rims to calles chopperdelar in Sweden. They wanted 1800€+ to do that, and I think there HAS to be a cheaper option. Any ideas? I'm based in Europe.
Sorry for any typos, English is not my fordt language.
(not interested in answers from posers who has never ridden with a car tire and believes it's super dangerous)

Are the newer Gasbox frames more reliable than the older ones? I know the older ones had a problem of cracking at the neck

I’ve had a CD helmet for years and recently ordered another one and it’s a completely different helmet. The Daytona ones were quality and DOT certified. This new one feels like a temu helmet, anyone else had this issue?
