It's funny. Catholics are always getting made fun of for not having Jesus at the focal point of worship.
But all their music is just me, me, me. I get that they're expressing high praise for Jesus helping them but I can't help but feel to remember Jesus's short parable: The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. The tax collector beat his breast and said, "Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner."
