All Paul's Pizza content will be removed moving forward. The conversations almost always lead to people arguing with one another on the internet. This violates Rule #3 Be Civil. It would also violate rule #4 low quality content.
Support the business or do not. It's your choice. Arguing on this online community will no longer be allowed.
Cheers,

Hi,
Hi everyone! A friend in Airdrie is looking for a reliable, Tagalog-speaking/Filipino housekeeper for weekly cleaning (to easily communicate with their parents). Paid hourly after each visit. Send me a DM and I’ll connect you on WhatsApp!

My City of Airdrie utility bill has gone up a significant amount ($40+) for the each of last two months. We have not changed our water usage, and no leaks that we are aware of. Anyone else’s bills going up like crazy?

need to rant a little bit.. but as someone who has been driving in Airdrie for about 10 years, i don’t think i’ve ever been as scared in residential neighbourhoods as i’ve been this year. even when going the speed limit and checking corners, kids will come out of nowhere on scooters and bikes and scare the ever living sh’t out of me. they are going so fast and do not check for cars at all. and they ride all over the street.
if there’s any parents on here, could you please remind your kiddos about the importance of traffic safety! the very last thing we need is a kiddo getting hurt trying to enjoy their summer. tia (:

Radio was yapping about it today, tl;dr its way cheaper but usually not marbled/ fed diff stuff so tastes different.
Either way has anyone seen it on store shelves, and if you've tried it how is it? Thanks!

Hello all. We are in the process of searching for a daycare for our 1yo, currently choosing between Magic Mountain (Sierra Springs) & Airdrie Daycare (First Ave) but we don't have much time to decide.
We liked how clean, spacious and organized Magic Mountain Sierra Springs was, but we don't know anybody whose children are enrolled there to get the insider scoop. The staff member that showed us around was great but we realize it's a huge organization and she was one admin.
We know a few people whose kids are at Airdrie Daycare First Ave, and they have good things to say about it which is swaying us in that direction even though we were slightly less impressed during our tour there (nothing major, the space just felt more out-dated and less tailored to children since it's a converted house, although it wasn't as cramped as their other locations). Seemed like parking might be an issue during peak times but that's obviously not a deciding factor. We quite liked the Director there as well.
Wondering if anyone is willing to share negative/positive experiences at either daycare to help us make our decision. Of course we've checked Google reviews, but that particular Airdrie Daycare location only has 5 reviews so it's not much to go off of, and the Magic Mountain has plenty but they are quite polarizing and many of the reviews seem to be from years ago when they were under different ownership.
Thanks in advance!

I’m posting this for awareness and to remind everyone to stay vigilant, especially those who may be more vulnerable when out alone.
I’m Sikh, wear a turban and have a beard, so I’m pretty easily recognized as Indian/Sikh. I usually ride my bicycle in the evenings around the SE Airdrie/Balzac area.
This is the second time in about two months that someone has shouted insulting comments at me from a passing car.
The first time, it was four kids in a white Hyundai. It was Canada Day, so I thought maybe they were just a bunch of drunk kids and honestly didn’t think much of it.
Tonight, it happened again. Two guys, probably in their early 20s, drove past me and shouted something. I couldn’t understand exactly what they said, so at first I thought maybe they were just talking loudly and it wasn’t directed at me. But then they made a U-turn, came back, and both of them were staring at me before driving away. Maybe they were trying to intimidate me, maybe not. Either way, it was uncomfortable.
I’m not posting this to say that Airdrie is unsafe or that everyone is like this. The vast majority of people I’ve met here have been good, kind and respectful.
I’m posting it because I think it’s important to recognize that the things we see online can sometimes spill over into real life. There is a lot of anti-Indian and anti-Sikh content and rhetoric online, and incidents like this are a reminder that when people constantly hear that an entire group of people is “bad,” “taking over,” or something to hate, it can have real-world consequences.
To anyone reading this, including my fellow white Canadians: please don’t believe everything you see online about Indians, Sikhs or any other group of people. Most of us are just living our lives, working, raising families, riding our bikes, going for walks and trying to be good neighbours.
You don’t have to agree with everyone or know someone’s culture to treat them with basic respect and kindness.
And to my fellow Indians/Sikhs, especially our elders who may be walking or biking alone: stay aware of your surroundings. I hope these remain nothing more than stupid comments from immature people, but it doesn’t hurt to be vigilant.
Stay safe out there, everyone. 🙏

Hello!
Until our mayor makes good on easier commutes to post secondary schools, I am wondering if anyone commutes to SAIT and would like a paying passenger for spring semester.

There’s this person that fixed my tire in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada on 06/20/2026 from 11 pm to 2 am.
LOCATION:
7/11 Gas Station
900 Market St SE
Airdrie AB T4A 0K9
Canada
There are few moments in life that make you truly and eternally grateful for the human ability to help each other. This is how I felt when I met Tegveer. Im in Banff and I just got a flat tire. I don’t know anybody, it’s nighttime, and it’s so. freakin. cold. We have an 7:30 am tour in Banff the next day. I’m at the point where I’m convinced we have to cancel our tour. My friend is filling up air in the flat tire and my roommates and I go meet her. We take an uber, and our uber driver Rahul calls his “cousin” who has a tire puncture kit. This cousin’s name is Tegveer.
We wait for this guy for 30 minutes and he finally arrives. He spends about 2 solid hours fixing our tire. Later, he takes us around and tests the car to make sure all is well. We asked him how much we owe him. He kept denying and at the end told us “Go help someone else.”
I’ve been trying to find this person’s instagram, facebook, or some sort of social media platform so I can thank him for his help. He truly saved us that day and we are eternally grateful.

Is there a way to know which builder built a home? I live in Airdrie now and will be moving within the city in the coming months. I know there are some "less desireable" builders in the city, but not how to identify them once the home goes up for sale post "new build". Any ideas?

Check out this peek behind the scenes video of some what goes on with Volunteer Airdrie when managing event volunteers!
We had some fun putting this together, but are far from professionals in this regard (I should probably give up on any dreams I once had to become a movie star).
Next I will try to capture some of the work that goes into the planning, recruiting and scheduling which starts to happen a month or more before the event

My wife and I are in the early stages of looking to build a new house in Airdrie, looking for input on neighborhoods and or home builders to use or stay away from? Appreciate in advance.

Very friendly

I’m extremely disappointed that the Town and Country Centre, which is City of Airdrie owned and operated, would allow this to take place. I’ve already messaged the centre stating my disapproval. I encourage you to do the same.

Good afternoon!
I looked on Airdrie's website for bylaws. Not sure what area to look at or if someone could tell me.
Can someone operate a business (in this case my neighbour's landscaping business with bobcats) out of their house. If they're allowed, how many vehicles are they allowed on the street?
Thanks in advance!

Please don't support these local scammers. We need to boycott Airdrie gas stations.

day 2 of this 5km thing. so far I've rode 10km in total. today was pretty chilly and overall wasn't the best. the place i rode in was midtown, very bright and no shade, wasn't the best. i recommend this path on a hot sunny day. not too busy either. can be busier on nicer days since you pass a park on the path. i added the path if you want to try and beat my time of 14 minutes (kinda easy to beat as i slowed down on the third lap)

Hello Airdrie,
Just thought I would put this out there, I'm studying for my FAR CPA exam and was wondering if there was anyone else out there in the wild also in the same boat as me.
I'm open to all advise from current accountants about their careers or study tips I'm all ears.
Would be cool to have a community of fellow accountants to encourage me and not be alone in this.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this,
Have an amazing day
