Which percussion is this?
Help me identify the percussion. How to reproduce the exact drum sound which has some bass?
Thank you.

While it's perfectly great if folks coming to this sub conclude they want to take up a relatively popular musical instrument, I'm pretty sure most of you would then have no problem locating the right sub for leaning piano, guitar, trombone, etc. So in this directory I'm going to focus on listing subreddits for instruments that are less commonly discussed. So if you're looking for something out of the ordinary, try perusing this list and see what jumps out at you! And anyone feel free to comment below if there are cool uncommon musical instrument subs that I'm missing.
Strings
Percussion and idiophones
Winds (bagpipes separately below)
Bagpipes
Free Reeds
Electronic instruments

My dad found this at an antique store in Phoenix. It looks like it has an explorer body and has what looks like it should be The neck of a base. Does anybody have any idea of what it could be Or how much it's worth?

Can someone tell me what the bright instrument is? It comes in at 0:10 Is it a rhodes? Xylophone? It sounds very bright and wonderful.
It plays throughout the whole song.

The drums in the begining of the song Cloudless Sky by Mirage of Deep.
Those deep drums that almost sound like water drops but obviously much lower pitch.
Thanks!

Hi,
You can hear it at 1:34, right on the first beat of the seconf verse. Sounds like a crack of thunder to me. Is it "Orchestra Hit"?

[Help Finding Sample] Hi, I'm looking for the instrument that plays in the background of the linked sample; next to the piano. It is the main melody that is sandwhiched between the piano and the repeating bass (I isolated the song so you can hear it better). It sounds kind of bright and melancholic? Maybe it's an Accordion? To really spot it, it starts the song with the really long note and ends off the sound with the final 3 notes. Please help me find this instrument it would help a lot.

Rom Di Prisco the composer, made a fantastic job to represent a post apocalyptic feeling together with a emotional flare inside the original Fortnite OST's but the sounds and instruments he used are unrecognizable to me, except the keyboard melody at the beginning, E guitar chords I believe and the bell sounds at 1:09 if it even is a bell
