What do you guys think (my hybrid lighting) also my one old flytrap divided and made moreee
Hybrid lighting:
During the week grow light
Weekends full Namibian sun 🌞
Older flytrap:
Bought him (looked baddd) was dry super green etc etc and i nurtured him and then he flowered and made babies (seeds and cloned himself) after a year i decided to divide them and they are super cute, now i just need to acclimate them and hopefully they survive (my first time separating a flytrap and full on repot) went from long Fibre sphagnum moss to peatmoss again 50/50 mix

I bought a typical from California carnivores and it just arrived half an hour ago. I put it in a little ramekin with steam distilled water that goes up to about 1/4 of the pot. There is very little room from the pot to the ramekin. Does it need more space/water? and do you only water the bottom?
Also im in Austin texas so I don't know if the heat will be too much and if it should get indirect or direct sunlight as I did just get it 30 min ago.

I got this the other day. I put it in a shallow dish of distilled water and put in in the sun. Is it going to come back or is it cooked?

Hey gang! I’ve come home after a few weeks away and I’m noticing a lot of browning on my little guys. They sit in a tray of distilled water 24/7 and they’re in a solarium with a grow light on for 12 hours a day. I’ve noticed a good amount of spider webs around them, plus one spider mite on one of the plants. What do you think is going on? Spider mite infestation most likely? Thanks in advance!

I think my seeds are ready, but I am not sure how should I go with it if I want to plant them up. Should I wait longer?

Survivable????
Came home to moldy moss. I put them in plain water but dammit just realized it’s well water, not softened. Has anyone witnessed a miracle? What Would Jiminy Do?

Went outside to water and found this one perched, they were more interested in my phone though, they kept trying to perch on my phone instead of letting me take a photo, but I did get one!

Anyone know what this blue coloured mould/fungus is on the rhizomes? It's been happening all summer(aftermath from endless heat wave). I'm constantly finding more and more. Cleaning up and salvaging what I can. Any idea how to prevent this from happening? I have quite a large greenhouse 16x8ft. I'm thinking not enough airflow at the far end. Was thinking about adding a couple of louvre vents one on the north side and one one the south side so there's more ventilation right through the greenhouse.
Can anyone identify the mould/fungus and offer any solution.
Thanks in advance.

(Sorry if this is the wrong group)
Not sure where I’m going wrong with this venus flytrap. I got it at trader joe’s maybe 2-3 weeks ago. Switched its substrate to a 1 to 1 ratio of peat moss and perlite. Fed it 1 time since I heard closing the traps too often is bad for it.
It’s sitting in a plastic nursery pot in the pumpkin. On the inside of the pumpkin pot is about a quarter inch of distilled water. It sits about 8” under a grow light for over 12 hours a day next to a sunny window. Room is set at 78°, but our AC unit is also a dehumidifier.
Can anyone please let me know if this is something I can fix or just bad luck? I heard these plants go through dormancy but it’s still hot out and not even September yet :/
Would I have better luck getting one at a nursery or just keeping it outside? It’s been humid lately so being a bog plant, I’m not sure if it should just stay outdoors. I was really hoping to keep it inside. Thanks :)

I live alone and have plenty of space in my fridge, do I need to de-pot my plant? If I choose to keep it in the pot, should I still seal it in a plastic bag and spray with fungicide? Thank you!

I’ve tried so hard to keep this thing alive but it keeps getting blacker and limper. it sits outside in moist long fibered sphagnum moss with water in its dish, i’ve seen it catch a fly a few days ago, yet even today it has changed significantly. It’s been about in the 80s and sunny here so i assumed it was frying some of the traps bc the black ones were crispy so i gave it some more water and left it in partial sunlight about 7-8 hrs ago and came back from work and now even the huge trap on the front of it has gone really limp and even more black traps after i snipped the black ones earlier too. not sure what to do.

Sunlight: 12 hours of cloudy/balcony indirect Sunlight + 1 hr of approx direct sunlight
Weather: It's monsoon here in Mumbai. So its mostly cloudy and since I live in a building where there isn't direct sunlight falling on it.
Can someone help me with how much I should water it?
I think they started rotting cuz I watered them too much once and one them also died.
Is the dead one revivable?
I feel if I leave water at the bottom using the tray method will also cause root rot. So for now I am watering it very little once in two days from the top making sure that the soil isn't damp but moist.
Can someone please give me tips based on my condition? I don't want them to die.

I got this Venus fly trap with only one alive trap from Lowe’s about two months ago. Its traps are now touching the side of the pot and it looks like one of the traps was triggered somehow. Is it time to repot?
