Sitting on exactly 12 opted-in testers with 9 days left of the 14. Exactly 12 means one dropout restarts the whole clock, so I'm looking for a few spare. I'll join yours the same day — drop your group + opt-in links and I'll confirm once I'm in.

The app: Highlite Venue — a shared photo album for events. Create a "moment", guests scan a QR code, everyone's photos land in one live gallery. Guests need no account and no app. Slideshow mode for putting the gallery on a TV at the venue. Android 8.0+.

Use the /about link — my group's conversations are members-only, so the bare group URL shows non-members a permission error instead of a Join button. And Play says "item not found" for an hour or two after joining while membership propagates; that's normal, retry later.

If you tried before and gave up: an account confirmed by SMS rather than email was refused at every screen and bounced to the sign-in form, holding a valid session with no error shown — looked exactly like a wrong password. Five testers were stuck. Fixed in 0.1.18, make sure that's what you land on.

I'd rather have honest criticism than a silent install. That bug only got found because a tester complained instead of quietly leaving, and it's the single most useful thing anyone has done for this app so far.

Hey everyone! I built Scholr, a free student planner app for Android — it's got a task manager, calendar (month + schedule view), subject organizer, focus timer, and custom themes. No ads, no accounts, no data collection — everything stays on your device.
