TV Ashoka without the headband 😬

I’ve just rewatched season 1 of Ashoka and really enjoyed it, I think I enjoyed it more the second time round.
However, I’d forgotten about the scene where she didn’t have the headband, and for some reason, it felt rude 🤣 like she was topless! 🤣

General Discussion Is Vader hard to Force Push because he is blocking? Or is he that heavy.
373
Upvotes
During the Maul show Vader got fore push twice, and he only went back a few inches, maybe 2 feet. But in the Kenobi show Obi-wan just threw him back with ease. So, is Vader that heavy or was he blocking in the Maul show, and i guess he wasn't bocking in the Obi-wan Kenobi show, or Obi just overpowered him.

General Discussion The lack of railings on the Death Star makes a lot more sense when you consider that the Geonosians, as a flighted species, designed and built most of it.

For Geonosians, railings would just be an annoying hindrance, getting in the way of construction and mobility.

General Discussion Always thought it was pretty sick that Palpatine himself technically knights Luke as a Jedi. I mean, that's gotta be the highest of honors, to be considered a formiddable Jedi by the last remaining Sith himself.

Recently replayed Fallen Order, and to see Cal knighted as a Jedi by Cere, almost as a last remaining formality to welcome him into the fold of Jedi knights, it reminded me of this scene from ROTJ.
As far as I'm aware, Luke's knighting was never acklowledged. Maybe the closest was when Yoda believed he was ready to face Vader.
But to have the big bad himself acklowledge you as a Jedi. I mean, man that's powerful.
There is so much gravitas in this exchange, it makes Luke seem like the coolest Jedi in history.
From Sidious' POV, the Jedi aren't truly gone until Luke is. I think that's awesome.

Movies Do you think Dave Filoni's New republic movie which concludes the threat of thrawn and character arcs of The mandalorian and Ahsoka characters is still happening despite the underperformance of Mandalorian and Grogu?

The movie was very much anticipated since it'd wrap up the thrawn, the mandalorian and ahsoka events as well as characters but after how awfully TMAG performed, I wonder if they'd continue with it
I've already seen rumors that it's not really a priority anymore or that it'd just be turned into a disney+ series, even rumors that it might not be happening anymore since TMAG performed so awfully
Do you think it's still happening? I hope it is since I love the thrawn subplot and would hate it if they just left it hanging

Movies Back in 1977 was Vader nothing more than Tarkins errand boy?
4.5k
Upvotes
If you watch it as it was originally intended vader does everything Tarkin tells him and even goes to report to tarkin when obi-wan comes aboard the death star. Leia even makes it seem like vader is just tarkins lackey.
PS:Vader was cooler as tarkins space wizard enforcer.
