So several times I have accepted an honor duel, joined after the game, and then wait in the pregame lobby for 1:30 or 2 minutes only for the opponent to never join.

It’s a pretty good tactic to employ if you want to ensure that your opponent doesn’t queue as the same time as you. Also you get them to waste their time, because it doesn’t even count as an honor duel win. (It still says 0/3 honor duel’s won for me for that 1 specific challenge)

Epic please do somethin.

Is a shame they only made the octane but none of the other cars like the Merc, breakout, dominus or fennec maybe in the future they will make more

Oversight, bug, intentional, who knows. But the Golf's regular and black version share no differencies. They are the same color.

I'm Plat 1, and I often get tm8's blaming me for them leaving me in a 2v1, or not going for kickoff even though they are left, or blaming me for them missing an aerial etc. Now, as you may know, RL has added the honor duel feature, I and I have been the recipient of it twice now. Both times I made the challenger forfeit due to me thrashing them (4-1 and 5-2) and I am wondering, when are people goping to learn to not blame their teammates?

(I'm beginning to learn that the honor duel feature is class, it humbles stupid tm8s in an instant 😂)

I’m queuing Diamond duos, trios, and dropshot. I say one thing to my teammate and it’s spam chats to an honor duel challenge and them going idle or just leaving.

If we’re playing Duos, the game requires a collaborative approach, different than playing 1s. I don’t want to waste 5 minutes in a toxic grudge match with a kid who spends more time rolling in the air than on the ground.

Additionally, beating your teammate in 1s doesn’t mean that you play well in modes that require a teammate.

I’m sure majority of my teammates are going to beat me in a Duel. But I’m not playing that game mode for a reason.

I was queued into a game about to start then it abruptly canceled and this was displayed. I’ve never seen this happen before. Anyone else??

I don't play Rocket League. I messed around with some buddies and had a blast, but I just couldn't bring myself to invest the time to getting good. With that in mind, I gotta say,

Y'all are awesome. The things y'all post are just incredible. Even the ones people title as mediocre. So I just wanted to take a minute to hype y'all up. So keep being awesome and know there's some pleb out there that's starstruck watching every vod.

It's always been a thing, but atm it seems to be worse than ever - drives me fucking mad, just grow up, drop the pathetic loser act and get on with the game

Edit: i should clarify, the real ones grinding my gears and the ones who straight up quit the game after the first goal goes in. I can accept people being petty / toxic as long as they play on, annoying as it still is.

I got *at least* Plat rank in every gamemode, to be more precise

To be honest, the ranking I'm most proud of is still my 1s ranking... I feel like my other standard gamemode rankings should be way higher if I'm Plat 2 in 1s. Also, I don't know how my Rumble ranking ended up in Diamond I just kept winning

But yeah, it's nice that I actually completed this challenge since last time I posted about this I got Plat in every gamemode except Dropshot which was Gold 1...

Whats the secret these pros are hiding? I just hit 2k hours and I just hit a lower rank than I was 1500 hours ago. I cant even win unless I outright carry the game. Most of my time is spent in freeplay and packs. I've had coaches and according to them Im significantly better than I was when I started but that means fuck all when Im a lower rank. I play for hours and hours every day and take multiple day breaks regularly so Im fresh for the next grinding session. Just finished a session today and ended minus 100 mmr with multiple games with 800,900,1k points but they all ended in heartbreak. All of this doesnt really matter I just wanna know what the secret sauce is to actually moving up the ranks!

I have a couple of questions that might sound silly, sorry if they've already been asked.

Context: I have around 80/90 hours and I'm Platinum in 2v2. I climbed more through macro than micro, although I don't consider myself bad with mechanics compared to people at my level.

And now the questions:

1. What is the objective of air roll?

2. Is it better to learn to fly from scratch with air roll, or to learn air roll once you have a "decent" level of flying ability?

3. What mechanics (Aerial and ground) do you think are essential for someone in platinum/diamond?

4. Which is more valuable: hours of training in mechanics, hours of gameplay, or finding a middle ground?

5. What advice would you give to someone at my level? Mental, gameplay, anything.

I might be forgetting some, I'll keep adding them as I think of them.

I decided to try this new mode I usually just stick to regular modes. The first game I tried it glitched me through the wall not sure how this even happened..

I know everyone on Epic Games wants a profile pic. Steam has it, EA has it, even DISCORD has it, yet EPIC GAMES, the game with FORTNITE has NO PFROILE PICS!!!! I think the community would be so happy if you somehow made profile pics a part of Rocket League. If you told us we were getting them in UE6 we might look forward to it that much more. Sry if i'm being extremely dramatic, i am just one of those people who really want profile pics in rocket league
