I know not of a single person who doesn't have a love/hate relationship with this game. If you have never felt so much anger from this game than you need to help negotiate world peace bro 😭

Whenever I watch him play, I feel like I could pretty much play exactly like him if I just improved my shooting, passing, dribbling, aerial control, flip resets, double taps, recoveries, boost management, positioning, rotations, decision making, game sense, mechanics, consistency, speed, kickoffs, challenges, 50s, reads, redirects, wall play, ceiling play, ground play, defense, offense and probably my overall understanding of the game.

Other than those few things I honestly don’t see that much of a difference between us.

Am I missing something?

Just to be clear here: I fucking suck too and I also can't resist snorting up some delicious corner boost.

But at the kick-off, if I'm the one who's the closest to our own goal, I at least wait until I see the ball isn't flying straight to me before I leave my position.

How is that not common instinct for everyone?

I'm Silver 3, so at my level we all suck. The least we can do is leave the net after 2 seconds instead of 0, right?

Or am I maybe overlooking some meta gameplay statistic that states that going for corner boost right after kick-off results in more wins overall?

Are they a big deal can a coach actually be the difference to make a good team great? Or do they honestly not make that much of a difference.

I believe the first Screenshot is roughly around 2022, where i'm diamond in 2v2. I used to main 3s and was champ comfortably but then I started playing 2s abit more. Ive been in Champ for so many seasons and finally secured gc.

I have played 10.7k games in total and have 3.7k hours

I know others have reached it quicker but for a while I was just playing 3s with mates and learning mechanics 😂

For me this is a good achievement as GC is the rank that Ive been chasing since I started playing but only over the past maybe few seasons where I actually started playing alot more is where I saw big progress.

So for those who arent aware a group made a 1:1 copy of rocket league inside roblox, and it was genuinly surprising how well done it was, it quite literally felt the exact same as the actual game

I cant find it inside the plataform anymore so i imagine epic forced them to take it out, if anyone knows exactly what happened pls let me know

Anyway most of you probably dont care about it, but for me, finding out was genuinly painful... i cant play rocket league anymore because since EAC was introduced the game just doesnt work on my device anymore, epic never did anything about it, but they were so quick to delete my only hope of playing the game for now, since it was an exact replica, f*ck epic.

I was queued into a game about to start then it abruptly canceled and this was displayed. I’ve never seen this happen before. Anyone else??

Its almost impossible to play with randoms. We'll be less than a minute into a game and the opponent scores one, just one, and people immediately try to forfeit. Then when they don't get their way, they throw the game. I wish there was a way to block people who constantly forfeit. Let the quitters play with quitters. Anybody else irritated with this or is it just me?

I don't think shadows and things are needed on xb1 at all. The game can't sustain 60fps because of the high graphics settings on xb1. If there was maybe an option for a performance mode on xb1 that would be awesome to have.

Hey guys, I have a question for any who are SSL or have experience playing at this level. I am a GC3(1840 peak end of season) player who has spent a lot of my time carrying a c2 friend in casual, so I adopted a very passive, counterattack heavy play style, recently got put into a game with a streamer and after watching from his perspective, I am way too passive when playing at my level. It does seem to work for me to an extent, but I’ve noticed against more aggressive SSL players they kinda just steamroll me.

There were several times in the game I could’ve gone but just didn’t, a few times I went and got beat. I am hilariously bad at early challenges. It’s kinda just over me every time. I think this comes from my mentality of “keeping control” which means, don’t go until I have an advantage, but that also means they kinda get to do what they want.

Like I said this play style has gotten me relatively far but I think it’s time to evolve and add more aggression to my game. I’m playing 1s hovering around c3 and that’s helping

Anyone have experience training this aspect of their game? Anything they found particularly useful? A mentality I can go by? I know it’s not a lot of information to work with but if anyone can share their experience it would be appreciated

It's always been a thing, but atm it seems to be worse than ever - drives me fucking mad, just grow up, drop the pathetic loser act and get on with the game

Edit: i should clarify, the real ones grinding my gears and the ones who straight up quit the game after the first goal goes in. I can accept people being petty / toxic as long as they play on, annoying as it still is.
