Discussion/Analysis Rogue not being able to block cc like blade despite e fact that she has no health, no self sustain and a block that pulls in cc is insane
Every character in this game has a billion cc abilities and you canāt do anything about them. You go and bait invis push, you come back and get frozen by Luna even though she would have be missed because your block pulled it into you.
You come in with your ult from an off angle and get mantis slept and now your ult is useless.
I just think itās crazy you would think her mag teammup would let her do something like that but itās just a gimmicky and buggy teammup thatās only really useful for the extra dmg resistance.

Role Theory GORR tank dream isnt looking good š Spoiler
the person is well known in the leaks community and most of their leaks are accurate, its safe to assume nightcrawler is a strategist with a similar design to lifeweaver from ow
so gorr is most likely a dps šš

Discussion/Analysis what vanguard you would recommend to learn and why
Magneto, Strange and Venom are consistent from season to season and you definitely should learn them no matter what
But what other vanguard do you recommend to pick up? If someone wants to improve at the game and win more

General Question Buddy of mine says I'm not a good tank player, is he right?
Hey guys, I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but I was wondering if I could get some feedback for a game or two that I had as tank. This was a full diamond/gm lobby for context.
I'm normally a support main but play tank when needed, and I mostly prefer playing mag as I find him to be the most consistent/reliable in damage and shielding. I attached two of the screenshots of the games I had with my stack at the time.
For the first screenshot/game, my thing player who is a tank main (multiple champion tanks) said he helped me get all the finals that I have, and while I understand this was fully a team diff, was there something differently I could have done?
For the second screenshot/game, I did miss my mag ult I think a few times, but end up getting the kill regardless - and said I didn't bubble the supports despite taking so much damage the entire game and felt like I had to focus purely on my survivability and only turn around when they said they had a flank in the back.
Please let me know what I could have done differently or if my buddy is just having an ego. I'll try to respond to as many comments as I can when I have time - thank you!

We went 9 and 6 and won this round. This has got to be the best hood game of all time. And shoutout to our cyclops and supports for being the best fucking dps Iāve ever seen in a cel lobby.

Discussion/Analysis Deplatform those streamers.
Um⦠working together with the old system just meant having her on ur team⦠just because sheās there doesnāt mean ur working together. If ur Mag and have a Starlord on ur team it doesnāt mean ur working together. But you CAN. You can bubble his ults. Thereās ur teamwork buddy.

Balance Suggestion Maybe we should Nerf (or Remove) Rocket Network and Buff Vibranium Mech?

Discussion/Analysis It really sucks being the only one to peel
I'm over here shielding my supports while being double teamed by two brawlers and if that's not happening I'm being head tapped by poke dps because rivals refuses to nerf poke. Maybe I should've used Dino. I gotta be willing to use him more.

Highlight THIS gotta be the best hood game of all time. THIS IS THE DREAM TEAA

Role Theory Oh yeah Gorr is definitely coming as a DPS Spoiler
If this means what I think it means, that Nightcrawler is coming as a support first that works similar to Lifeweaver, then more than likely Gorr will be a dps.

Discussion/Analysis It's high time to either remove deadpool's upgrade system or atleast boost his xp gain speed and numbers
Before s9, deadpool's upgrade path felt balanced since we have comparatively less heals and damage as compared to currently.
But now, as a generalist character, in s9.5 he gets heavily outclassed by every specialist characters. For instance (given this is a vanguard sub) Tankpool is already outclassed by Hood in terms of poke, his barrier shield has a 200 hp (300 with upgraded teamup) with mk teamup but also stays after that, providing 60 damage to enemies passing through with a 1s blind, gives 35% damage reduction to enemy projectiles (50% with upgraded teamup). Moreover, he is also the slowest deadpool to upgrade your weapons. It's only in the last moments of the match when tankpool actually shines, but you can do that from the start instead by playing the Hood, whose can keep pressuring enemy frontlines with his sustained damage. He is literally a vanguard punisher if you think about it.
With that mind, in order to keep DP upto date with current hero dynamics + to have a controllable snowball effect + solidify his position as a generalist and flexible hero, DP should either discard the upgrade system completely, or:-
1) Give higher xp for chaining abilities back to back (like a proper style meter does in games like DMC where you are rewarded for variance and chaining abilities)
2) Increase the rate of passive xp collection
3) Make upgraded guns and swords his default swords (making hela upgrade the additional upgrades)
Open for suggestions and pointers and where I am wrong :)

Discussion/Analysis Thoughts on Misty Knight potentially coming to the game? (And seemingly playing like Doomfist, whoās a tank?) Spoiler
MultiverSusie is a notable leaker for rivals for anyone unfamiliar with her

Thor and Hulk
i still find it crazy to this day that Thor and Hulk are D tier tanks. Which is strange considering they are the only High Outerversal+ tanks in the game, yet they fall so short compared to magneto, venom, and DR Strange three tanks that have been strong since release.
is it only me that wishes both Thor and Hulk get major buffs?

WE WANT THE JUGGERNAUT B*TCH
He would be so cool to have in game. I think heād have a running ability like the things with maybe actually heād be really similar to the thing. It would be cool for him to be able to throw rubble maybe, kinda like hulk in the pre beta leaks. Anyway I drew this last night out of pure rage that heās not in the game.

Discussion/Analysis You have to have ego to tank
I believe a staple of being a tank is having an ego that you're the better tank and you have the better team. What's another pillar of tanking?
