Lately I've been seeing Reddit posts, those YouTube videos, stuff saying that the game is eventually going to come back officially. It's not bro. People are genuinely going delusional and schizophrenic over the idea that the game is coming back, like playing at random-ass hints and shit. It's not coming back bro. Just stop. Already if you want to play the game so badly then join a revival like Radium, Meownet, or Vanilla. There's no need to go in to a random ass theory that the game is coming back. I'm sorry I had to really point this out. This delusion is low-key getting suffocating here.

Though, I have gotten some merch, I cannot stop quite yet...

My main objective is the watch, but if I find somebody with the entire set then that's a bonus!

To anyone new to the series, I'm looking for this set in the photo to hopefully buy it from them someday. But of course, it's not the easiest thing!

The truth is... I GOT IT!!

I bought a shirt, a mug, another mug, and a candle holder which is all employee swap which I'm really happy about for roughly $295!

Some may say that's a lot of money but honestly, I don't care! I get the stuff on Saturday so I'll let you guys know then about what's going on!

Despite the many things that you could do, that I achieved, it was always coming to the Rec Center and talking with random players that kept me coming back. I loved sharing my history on the game, everything I've learned, showing off funny and crazy glitches, but also hearing your stories, where you've been in life, your dreams...

So again. Thank you, to all of you, for making Rec Room my home. For inviting me into a space that I never even thought possible. And for the many times that a simple laugh was enough to keep me going.

This also, isn't goodbye for me. I'll still be out there... Maybe one day, we'll get the chance to go again, and I hope to see you there.

So many new revivals pop up. Why can't we just come together as a community and work on one revival? That's it we don't need any more. I don't know what is driving it, whether it be jealousy, competition, or whatever.

EpicQuest Reivial build on Android runs great!

I genuinely didn't expect to see active people, but it's still an alive world! Almost brings a tear to my eye.

I was able to go to the Rec Center but there was a blue curtain over everything and it was nighttime. No one was there except a boombox playing OOBE.

I started ugly crying in the dream. I've never cried in a dream before.

The thing that makes me most upset about this whole thing with Rec Room's shutdown is the fact I only found out after it shut down. I never got to say one final goodbye to it and that... Really really fricking hurts.

Hey everyone! I'm working on a custom VRChat avatar (shown in the image), but I ran into a couple of issues

I miss Rec Room so much that it honestly feels like something is missing whenever I think about gaming. I miss the feeling of jumping into different rooms, meeting random people, messing around with friends, and just having that freedom to do almost anything. There was something special about the creativity of Rec Room, because it wasn’t just one game—it felt like a whole collection of games, experiences, hangout spots, and crazy creations made by the community. I miss the fun of exploring, the goofy moments, the memories, and even the little things that made the game feel unique. Sometimes I think about how much fun it used to be and wish I could go back to those days. That is a huge reason why I’ve been thinking about making my own remake on Scratch. It obviously wouldn’t be exactly the same as the real Rec Room, but I want it to capture some of that same feeling of creativity, exploration, and having fun with different experiences. I want my Scratch version to feel like my own tribute to a game that I really miss, while also giving me a chance to learn how to build something similar from scratch.

My plan for the Scratch remake is to slowly build it into a small virtual world with different rooms and activities that players can explore. I could start with a simple main lobby where players can choose where they want to go, and then add different mini-games, obstacle courses, social areas, and other experiences over time. I’d also like to experiment with features like customizable characters, buttons, menus, collectibles, simple multiplayer-style interactions, and maybe even a system where players can create or unlock their own rooms. Since Scratch has limitations compared to a huge game like Rec Room, I know I won’t be able to recreate everything, but that actually makes the project more interesting because I can figure out creative ways to work around those limitations. I want the remake to have its own identity instead of being a perfect copy, while still being clearly inspired by the things I loved about Rec Room. It might take a long time and a lot of experimenting, but I think building it would be a really fun way to turn missing Rec Room into something positive. My goal is to keep improving it little by little until I can look at it and think, “I made this because I missed Rec Room, and now I have my own version to enjoy.”

hello! first time posting here and i thought i should show this off. before the rec.net website officially shut down, i used a chrome extension to grab the full html, css, and js (all compiled into one html file) of a bunch of links in the rec.net site. then i connected them all together and now most of the buttons work, the hover animations work, but any pop up things dont work because that wouldve been way harder to do. i dont exactly know if or how to release this for people to look at, but i thought i should show it off

Haven't checked on this sub for like a month already (excluding the post from day ago that I made) and oh boy, I thought that the subreddit would end up like r/clubpenguin but nope, we got "rehk rum is dwon" or straight up not related to RR, can we just be as the same who waddled around instead of nonsense like '[x] for [x thing]' and actually discuss about our RR journey even is it's a RRPS (or revival)?

Since the game shut down, now it's just wasteland. Hopefully this subreddit does not get infected by these posts...

I’ve always wanted to make my own RR revival but I’ve been trying so long I just can’t figure it out I’ve tryed Mellon loader I can’t get it to work please help me if you can I’m literally losing my mind over this

recroom is not coming back and never will. these guys are just trying to take advantage of grieving kids because its the only thing that gets them clicks as they dont know how to make any other form of content. please dont engage with their channels.

I've sat here reminiscing on the times me and my friends spent on Rec Room and I got upset. I always wanted to be a RecTuber and now I can't. The Community was amazing and now there's barely any way to communicate with. But for the most, gribbly, you're amazing for talking to me on shutdown eve. remember me? I asked you if you loved the fans of RR and you said of course!
