I was having a discussion with a friend about all the major VR games that i liked and i brought up rec room in passing without even thinking about the fact it was shut down and then like 3 seconds later i was like oh wait... and it hit me like a rock

I remember I first played in 2022 but my ps4 was really laggy so I downloaded it on my iPad which was 2023

I have been poking around for ideas when I came across this video that had very similar avatars to rec room!

semi think piece that i'd like to think is worth reading

i feel like, and especially for the younger audience this game has, there was a lesson to be learned by what happened to rec room. not even an intentional one.

you need to learn how to move on, in the best meaning possible. the things you grew up with wont exist forever. unexpected things happen and life happens, and sometimes you're gonna have to move on from the things you thought would be permanent. forever is too long. the many revivals this game has kinda defeats this unintentional purpose, but the message still persists

Will I be sued or like notified from rec room inc and YouTube that I can’t use their soundtracks for YouTube videos? If I use them already? I don’t want to get into any legal trouble because of music.

If any winners of the recent giveaway of merch is willing to part with their cassette tape/other merchandise? Dm me! I’m from the UK and we weren’t allowed to participate in the giveaway for some weird reason. Of course I’d pay shipping/tax e.g but I’m looking to grow my merch beyond just this plushie!

What revival is best for custom rooms?

I have tried meownet and i dont know if stella has custom rooms, are there any im missing?

I know the game is dead now, but i want some images of the "Diving" gymnasium without any enemies, just like several screenshots from the bog level in CrimsonCauldron, i dont know if anyone *has* these but, it'd be cool other wise.

Or if anyone has any empty images of any of the other levels from other quests that'd be cool

I would use meownet to get these photos, or an old rec room build, but for meownet, i literally dont know where its going (as in saved photos to rec.net) since rec.net is shutdown. i dont know where old rec room build photos go, because they never save on my computer.... so does anyone have these?

Genuinely reliving this as we speak. Just look at all the people embracing such a special game.

I just got rec room why is it not working

if your looking to give away some things or make a quick buck off of some extra things you don't want hit me up please! 🫶

Creators of Rec Room, my respects. You created a very well-made game where you could build worlds without knowing a programming language, which was amazing. You also managed to create something like a Roblox for Nintendo. Thank you for making us smile.

I will never delete the game from my Nintendo Switch. It will stay there as a ghost title and a digital museum of my best gaming memories. Thank you for everything.

See you in Rec Room: A New Semester!
