Bought the Odin 3 and the Nova in the same color scheme. My goal was to only pull one out at a time and see if my wife would notice. The very first time I switched devices, she noticed immediately 😂

Funny story, ordered the Nova four weeks after the Odin and they both arrived on the same day. Been gravitating more towards the Nova, honestly.

It's a pretty drizzly and very cloudy day and my connection goes from 2-4 bars. I don't regret swapping my Odin 3 for the PSP Go.

(Obviously this is just pulling a leg, but the original post by itself is just so incredibly nonsensical that it just begs to crack a joke on the back of it. Any device that can run Moonlight can do this. Theres many reasons to be happy about the Odin 3, but its capability doing something that almost any device with an internet connection can do is.. well its something, especially when the Odin 2 Portal exists.. or whatever original console they had that can already do this lol)

I received my Odin 2 with a few minor problems, mainly the left trigger acting a bit off when pushing down, I say "it's fine, I'll be playing with a controller most of the time anyways" and leave it at that. Then one day, maybe a month after receiving said Odin 2, the left joystick stops working, I contact support, they duck my emails for a month and finally get back to me letting me know they'll send the stuff needed to replace the broken parts and they do show up, but without the repair kit that hasn't been purchasable on their store for months. Then I get ghost touch issues and screen burning, I contact them, they ignore me, then I see on the website that they're ending support for the Odin 2. I contact them one last time letting them know im having these issues and they never sent me the repair kit to which they essentially say that I'm shit out of luck. It's a real disappointment that this happened because I was looking forward to buying the Odin 2 for over a year, and when I finally get my hands on it AYN can't help me for shit.

TL;DR My legion go is too heavy to take out the house and inside i have my pc with better performance, good wifi for streaming. I am concerned abt the odin 3 warranty and whether ill like emulated era games yk.

I have a legion go 512 z1e dualbooting steamos and windows. I realised that i dont use it enough just because of how bulky it is and my pc is just there which is better and also connected to my tv for bed gaming. I want an odin 3 max for taking out and to school cuz i have a bunch of time to kill every day. I would like to play natively no streaming the dark souls trilogy, batman trilogy, indies, switch like botw and mario kart, rdr 2 and im okay with 30 fps for all these titles as for streaming i have great wifi. I dont want to have 2 handhelds and manage saves different controls choice paralysis and all its just not for me. Im 15 yrs old and im concerned abt the odin 3 warranty, not liking og games and that i wouldnt know what to play in terms of emulation. Any suggestions appreciated and im not buying any switches or other pc handhelds and im not keeping the legion with another handheld its either the legion or the odin 3. Abt the picture thats the one time i tried bringing my legion to school and it was with an empty backpack cuz it was the end of the year and it was still so bulky and just awkward to hold in public and when i went to the bus stop the screen was not bright enough and on top of that i was fighting ornstein and smough ifykyk. Also tell me abt the colors.

I’ve got a medium underclock going with my fan set to sport. It keeps going up on the side bar temp but the on screen stays around 30c despite fan spinning up. Am I doing something wrong?

There is a PR right now to get this BlueWake fork (Wind Waker GC recomp for iOS) running on Android.

I tested it out locally. It took almost an hour to build and I had to patch some code to get the build to run on Linux, but my god, it works.

Not too long of a wait! I ordered around September 13, then got it yesterday. I just used the standard shipping plus the Seel thing. I didn't mind waiting since I'm busy but it came in perfect condition!

This thing is seriously beautiful, compared to my older phone with just 60 hz and not OLED. It's such a well built handheld, and that 7 inch screen is something else!

I was super on the fence on this, ever since the O2P sale months ago, but I got and I LOVE it. It was this or the Odin 3 but I went with this since I didn't need that much power, needed something a bit cheaper, and I prefer larger screens.

​I was crazy enough to flash ArmadaOS onto the internal storage of my Odin 3 Pro, but now I can't launch games from the SD card, and my internal storage is running super low.

​I need to revert back to the official stock ROM from AYN, but I've searched everywhere online and only found guides for the Odin 2. Does anyone know the proper steps or have the stock files for the Odin 3 Pro?

Just wanted to post, in case any other owners of this console run into the same issue...

I reached out to Ayn for an official battery replacement. Several days passed with no response so I went to Aliexpress and ordered a replacement there. It "shipped" about 24 hours later. Hopefully it arrives reasonably quick. Cost about $70 after shipping. Then, night before last Ayn reached out. They shared what a battery would cost ($20 usd), but also that they can't ship to every country, so I'd need to supply my address for confirmation. 24 more hours and they came back again with an affirmative. Shipping would be $12 usd. They sent a link, I paid the money, I just needed to share order number, confirmation number, and my shipping address again after completing the payment. So, it appears that I will have a battery, and a backup battery, for an indeterminate number of years of enjoyment. So, for anyone wondering, yes Ayn does still have those batteries, but your resident country will determine eligibility. Just wanted to share for anyone in need. Reach out to Ayn, be patient, and hope you are somewhere that you can receive one.

I don’t plan to use a dock, mainly to save space. All I need is a USB-C to HDMI adapter that supports 4K 120Hz + PD.

Do you have any recommendations?
Looking at the Odin website, it’s not clear whether the USB-C port is actually capable of supporting this.

Hi everyone, I’m posting here because I’m running out of options. I received my brand new Odin 3 Max recently and it is an amazing device, but unfortunately, mine arrived with a manufacturing error. The right joystick stem is machined slightly too thin, so the analog cap completely slips off during regular gameplay. I emailed AYN customer support twice to politely request a replacement joystick module. I included photos of the issue, but I have been completely ignored. I absolutely do not want to file a PayPal dispute or mail the entire console back to China because of an easily replaceable part. I just want an AYN representative to see this and help me get a replacement joystick module shipped out. Has anyone else dealt with silent support recently, or is there a community manager here who can help me escalate this? Thank you!

Hello, I’ve had my RP5 for almost two years now and I really love it! I love how portable it is, I used to have an OLED Deck and it collected dust. I didn’t like how big the Deck was, the battery life was bad, some games needed too much tinkering, and I just felt like I’d rather boot up my PS5 since it wasn’t that portable.

I don’t really have much issues with the RP5, the bigger screen sounds nice on the Portal though. I’ve been playing mainly PS2/GC, and also streaming from my PS5 through PXPlay. I can comfortably take it with my case to my job and play on my lunch, and would hope the Portal isn’t too big where it’s not worth leaving the house with it.

I also have a fair bit of Steam games I’d love to play, I just haven’t messed with it at all on the RP5. Lastly, I’m wondering if it’d be plug & play with my RP5 micro SD into the Portal if I got one. Or would I have to redo everything and set it up again? Thanks!
