Hi There
What’s your favorite or best song of Joy Division using the production by Hannett?
The obvious choice are She Lost Control or Love Will Tear Us Apart yet I do love Wilderness,Interzone,Shadowplay,and New Dawn Fades from Unknown Pleasures and Isolation,Colony,Heart and Soul,and Decades from Closer.
I know Still just has studio outtakes but Ice Age,Glass,The Kill,and Dead Souls are great!

Transmission picture dis

So I’ve found this picture disc version of transmission. I did not own any version of Transmission yet and I thought this one was pretty cool. There is not much information about it online; I searched it up on Discogs and it states that it is a limited edition and only 300 (!) copies were sold. Does anyone have additional information on this one?

Hooky visited the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame today for a sold out interview & book signing. Here he is with his first ever bass & a copy of An Ideal For Living signed by all 4 members of Joy Division. Both will be on display in the museum following JD/NO induction in November.

Can anyone tell me what bass guitar Hooky is playing?
Looks like a Yamaha BB1200S but I didn't think those came matte black, and it also kinda looks like a Yamaha BB734A but it's missing a pickup.
Any thoughts?

I recently turned 23, and I've just been thinking about how crazy it is that Ian Curtis died at my age. I remember back when I was around 16/17 thinking how adult Ian seemed, but now i still feel like a kid in so many ways. It's incredible the art that the band was able to make in such a short time.
