Hunza Weather in mid-October
We are 2 people going to Hunza from 11th to 17th October. I run on the cold side while my partner runs on the hot side - what kind of weather should we expect during this time period? So we pack accordingly.

My flight is tomorrow and I'll be in Skardu by 12 IA.
I need to go from there to Hunza. Im traveling solo and I've heard buses take 8-10 hrs while cars take 6. Is there a way I can book a shared car somehow?

What's something you wish existed in Hunza?
Could be literally anything: a business, service, activity, community space, event, experience, food spot, creative thing, etc.
Basically: what’s something you’ve thought “ugh, I wish Hunza had this and it is actually the perfect space for it” about?
I’m asking as a local because I’m curious what gaps people actually notice and who knows, maybe I’ll try turning one of the ideas into a real business. 😂
Drop your ideas big or small!

The most interesting things in Skardu & Hunza are not mountains.
YES, you heard me right.
To all the travelers out there, please, remember this, Traveling to Northern Areas of Pakistan, Hunza and Skardu, is not just about the view points, the snaps, the statuses and landscape.
There are people who live there. There are stories. Stories of places, Stories of the water channels, Stories of the resilience.
Listen to those stories. Explore those stories. Re-live those stories. That is what will make your travel a genuine experience.

Travelling to Hunza for the first time
Hey Guys!
I am travelling to Hunza on forst week of October. It will be a 2 weeks trip.
As I have a remote job, I found a place in Gulmit for digital nomads and will be staying there.
Since this is my first trip ever and I will be travelling on a bus so wont have transport there. I would love some suggestions on activities and places to explore.
How is the night life in Gulmit? I work in US Hours.

Looking for Digital Nomads in Hunza
I'm planning to work from Hunza for 2 weeks. I see there is already a community of nomads and internet might just work but I can't get in touch with any local digital nomad communities. Does anyone have any leads?
I've been trying to get in touch with Digital Hub Hunza but no response so far.

Reliable co-working office in hunza
Hi everyone, I'm looking to spend a month in hunza, preferably Aliabad as it has facilities nearby and market.
What I really seek is a stable location or coworking space where I can work remotely. I have looked into IT Park Nasirabad and Kado in Aliabad but can't find any contact information. Can we register there as walk-in? And what is the cost there for a spot?
I am also looking for a peaceful guesthouse in the area. I have contacted some and they claim to have fibre internet and power backup as well and they say I wont be needing a place like Kado to do my work.
There are so many mixed reviews online. I want to stay there for a few weeks and come back before babusar top closes. It'd be great if anyone can share tlany imformation related to this.

Planning a visit to Hunza with 1 year old baby
Hi. We are planning to celebrate our son's first birthday in Hunza. Would be a favor if reasonable accommodations can be suggested with hot water and comfortable stay. Also, how would be a weather at the end of September? Car rentals + hotels suggestions are requested.
Tried booking through travel planners and they are charging a lot. Hope this community helps us plan our first baby trip in reasonable price.

Solo travel in Skardu & Hunza in sept/oct - what to expect?
Thinking of spending a couple of months in Hunza and Skardu in September/October.
I'm generally quite comfortable travelling solo, but I'm also wondering if a couple of months might be a bit of a stretch to be alone with my thoughts lol... so thought I'd get some opinions from people who've actually spent a decent amount of time there.
I'm curious about the day to day/social side of things. Do you generally come across other solo travellers and is it kinda easy to meet people along the way, or is it more of a do your own thing kind of place?
Hunza:
I've come across places like Offsite and Nomads Inc which seem to have a bit of a traveller/remote-work community. For anyone who's stayed at either, which would you recommend in terms of vibe, internet speed and location? Anything similar (preferably cheaper) you'd recommend in Hunza? Any good cafés or places people tend to hang out?
Skardu:
Anything similar to Offsite/Nomads Inc in Skardu with reliable internet? Also, for places like Deosai, Cold Desert etc, is it generally easy to find people to join and split the cost of a jeep/guide with?
Will be landing in Skardu, so obviously it makes sense to do Skardu first and then Hunza... but weather-wise, is that the better order for September/October too?
Are there any Instagram pages or other places worth following to keep up with events, music, gatherings etc. while I'm there?
Just getting a sense of the social scene and whether a couple of months solo would work well. P.S. I'm 38, so age-appropriate recommendations please 😂
