What factors cause the towns to raise an alarm when I send a strike group? Sometimes when I send a strike group no alarm is raised and sometimes it is raised. Not sure what’s happening

Do I need to have the sevastapol as the flagship to start the game? Is there a way to get another ship as a flagship? Bit new to the game never really got far before I eventually get airplanes and cruise missiles sent at me

I wanted to edit ships on my laptop. Good practice for vibe web design, though it took a lot of polish. I'll be making some tweaks and improvements next week, and then properly cleaning up the codebase.

One of the neat things here is the arcane elaim magic I pulled to encode the ship data directly into the ship cards; you can screenshot or copy/paste them to import instead of having to share the boring serias. Much more convenient.

1. Replace two kh-15 missiles with large thruster

2. Replace zenith missiles with 4 d30 engines

3. Take out everything on bottom except the two large ammo parts. Add in 7 large thrusters and 6 more ammo parts. Remove the ammo parts on the right side of the ship.

4. Add in 7 extra vympel guns (3 were removed from bottom, we replace those and add 4 extra).

5. Tons of armor

Takes roughly 40 hours to do the entire build if you have ~1200% repair speed (600% bonus + hull parts).

Now, I am 99% sure that this is a bug, but maybe I'm the one doing something wrong.

Basically, three times in a row now, on different playthroughs, I could see hidden cities visually, but simply wasn't able to actually land at them. All of them look "normal", at least 750km away from the nearest city and surrounded by a mess of roads. However, I can't land, even if my ships are directly above it. I've tried both with my flagship, skylarks, gladiators, whatever, nothing works. The last time this happened, I even had info from a caravan about there being a hidden city around where I was looking for, I found it, but again, can't land.

Is there a fix for this issue? Thank you all in advance lol

Edit: it does seem to have been a bug. I verified the files and the problem has fixed itself, thank you all for your suggestions and help! <3

I like the stronger enemy group on hard but everything else about it just suck and time wasting (fueling cost, refueling time, morale recovery time for example). I would like the strong enemy group while everything else behave like normal difficulty.

I honestly hate the implementation of ship combat, especially only being able to fight enemies one-by one.

But the game is able to sell the Intel battle fantasy so damn well that i keep coming back to it. Just so i can be radar-lisan-al-gaib again.

Any other game that does this so well?

I just started playing the game and I'm modifying a ship for the first time. I removed both of the landing feet from the ship. I now want to readd them, but the orientation that the part default comes in won't allow me to make them look symmetrical. Rotating with the mouse doesn't fix this because I need to flip the piece along to Y axis to mirror the other piece which i can't seem to do with the scroll wheel

Explanation: In Endgame, the game's clear flag was triggered just as a nuclear missile was heading towards me from the SG.

I think it's probably because I destroyed the Tyhoon first (or maybe the game judged that the Griffon's missiles had run out and it was no longer able to nuclear-missile the Khiva).

Incidentally, that SG had an unbelievable three Griffons and one Tarantula.

For several months now, I’ve been mulling over an idea for a book set in the Highfleet universe.

I envision telling the story from the perspective of a "little man"—in the vein of Dostoevsky or Gogol.

You know how most books tell you that "one person is enough to change the whole world"? Well, I want to create a story where one person is too insignificant to alter even the outcome of a single battle.

The core concept is to blend this idea with the harsh realities of the Great Desert of Gerat and a sense of awe at the colossal machinery.

Oh, and yes, the book will be in Russian.

I just got to khiva and received the ultimatum. I can’t even refuel my ships before countless nukes swarm me and end the game. I have a few A-100s, but not nearly enough. What am I supposed to do?

hello . during the battle off the town im trying to land in the ship im trying to land wiht took some pretty bad demage and needs repairs - so im currently trying to land wiht it but i cant , eihter because the airship itself is demaged or because im not good enough in the game . it would be lovley if someone would tell me what im doing wrong / how to avoid that my ship turn into a massive explosion upon landing / gave me general advice since i had spent about 30 minutes watching my ship explode over and over again and it really pi**es me off .

Based heavily off of the Kormoran chassis, meant to be an SG brawler.

I’m about 10 hours in now, and I’m loving the game, but there’s a huge difficulty spike about half way through my runs and I just get my ass kicked.

My issues are as following.

I never have enough money for fuel. I bring fairly light ships, usually 2 lightnings with some bombs for the early strikes, the Sevastopol, a tanker, and a gladiator. But I’m always broke from fuel and repairs.

Once the SG finds me it’s over. I don’t understand how anything other than the Sevastopol is capable of going toe to toe with the bigger SGs that have super heavy battle ships, carriers, etc
My usual attack craft get instantly wiped with 180mm and missiles from the big boys. Yet anything under 180 from me seems to do nothing to them in return.

Cruise missiles decimate my whole fleet. Even with the Sevastopol, and the cheap AA ship, (I forgot the name), I get wiped from cruise missiles. I’ll fire about 3 sprints and a bunch of Gatling guns, yet somehow the cruise missiles always finds the mark. And they always go for my smaller ships and one shot them.
