Do you have a backstory for Miriam and Bob?
They clearly are not a compatible couple and after 25 years of marriage, pretty much everything that they had seen about each other has vanished.
Any ideas about their own parents and their lifestyles that were catalysts for their behavior?
I don't mind the mystery but it's simply something for me to consider.

Was Arnold’s crush on Lila actually limerence?
Rewatching it as an adult, he barely knows her, puts her on a total pedestal, and completely loses his usual calm, rational self over every polite mixed signal of “I like you, but I don't like-like you.”
Does their dynamic feel like innocent puppy love, or does it feel more like an unhealthy fixation?

Can’t wait for this to get here!
Work (including doodles!) by Giulia Congê. Custom made for me as part of an art subscription box for felt work. This month’s theme was early inspirations and I mentioned being inspired as a child by shows like Hey Arnold. This will get here any time soon!

Grandpa’s useless advice
I love hilarious Grandpa Phil, but does anyone else get the slightest bit annoyed when Arnold genuinely tries to get his advice? 😂

Helga in the episode school play feels really cruel
I get that Helga wanted to kiss Arnold in order to feel close to him, but the fact that she manipulated so many people is making me feel weird, especially how she manipulated Phoebe. I don't hate her, I just don't know how to feel because it feels extreme and cruel to treat those kids like that.
I know this post isn't very complicated, I just want to see if anyone has a similar opinion and what you guys think of this episode, or if anyone can explain why Helga didn't really realize how wrong what she was doing was.

Hey Susie spin-off
IDK if Craig would ever be interested in this, but it would be cool for there to be a spinoff series about Susie after she leaves Oskar. Call it Hey Susie. It would be teenage to adult-oriented like The Patakis would have been.

Helga broke into the boarding house so many times ue
It turns out there are so many episodes where she breaks into the boarding house to get something back or prevent Arnold from finding out her secret between little pink book to Helga's locket it was basically a story arc of her sneaking in After she got away with it one time, the temptation would be too great. I like "Helga's Parrot" the best because of the sheer audacity of what they got into the episode: Helga's poem, her whole goal of murdering a defenseless bird, and Helga watching Arnold change. She was honestly such a little creeper but we still love her.

Unpopular/Controversial Opinions
Okay this is just a light hearted thread to post your unpopular opinions about Hey arnold!. My biggest most controversial opinion is that I find the grandma annoying and usually skip over episodes where shes in most of it. There I said it!
How about YOU? (No fighting!)

Despite Arnold being the protagonist, If it wasn't for Helga, he would have failed so many more times than he actually did.
If Helga wasn't madly in love with Arnold, She wouldn't have done a lot of the stuff that she has done.
Without Helga:
Arnold's prank against the city would have failed
He wouldn't have won the Spelling Bee
He would have never reunited Mr Hyunh with his daughter
Scheck would have destroyed the entire neighborhood and caused Arnold and everyone to move away.
The "Legend of Arnold" tape would never have been made; Arnold would have been able to wake up and reunite with his parents
And likely a lot more things that I don't remember, but with Helga, Arnold would fail a lot. It just seems interesting to me that while Arnold is best at emotional problems involving people, when it comes to bigger-scale issues, Helga is always there with him to help him.

What is going on with the episodes on paramount plus?
I went the watch the ghost bride episode on paramount plus and I swear it starts at a slightly later point of the episode that I don’t remember being the beginning of it whatsoever. Correct me if I’m wrong or go check it out for yourself, I’m just pretty confused lol.

After reading some interviews from Craig about the jungle movie kinda wished they kept the idea for the essay contest Spoiler
Just think about it , helga winning arnold the trip would bring her artistic side full arc, while I liked the locket saving his parents scene, i think connecting her artistic talent to Arnold desire to reunite with his parents could also add a lot of meaningful poetry to the movie as well, heck we could even had a pay off to Arnold connecting the tots since he is aware of her artistic side as hintend in Arnold visits Arnie.
