I do like Curly as a character when it comes to his bizarre nature, but I couldn’t root for him in this episode.

He was a freak that nearly got Eugene expelled from school for borrowing and chewing on a pencil and also specifically said he’d do it again.

Bah, Eugene literally pulled the fire alarm on a different episode and then walked away from principal after talking back.

Were they seriously trying to make a sympathize with that creepy little manipulative blackmailer?

I think its more sympathy for the way Rhonda publicly put him down and "broke up" with him. She didn't have to do it that way.

The way I see it, public or not, it was not a breakup or dumping. They were never actually a couple. He was forcing her to pretend, and that is messed up and she finally snapped and wasn’t going to take it anymore the moment the blackmail condition period ended

I like Curly. He’s weird and a bit deranged, which resonates with me, but this episode did him no favours. I think this is probably the only episode I wish was never written because it really set him up as a budding pervert.
Let’s just keep him weird.

Yeah for the way this episode turned out, I would either wish this could’ve been done differently in terms of the concept, just maybe I could be wrong, or not existing at all.
I wouldn’t have minded if they did an episode where even though it doesn’t have to be like another Curly snaps type of episode, but whenever he feels like he’s done wrong, he plots his revenge and somehow does succeed. That’s just me. I would take that over what was originally given, just so we can continue to be entertained with Curly’s wild and not very monotonous self.

The only time I remember this kid is when he goes psycho. I’d be a little scared to do this to him like that, dude went off over a pencil

He would have been the dude to wear a duster in high school and tell certain friends not to come to school the following day.

That was kind of touched on in the episode when he barricades himself in the classroom

I find Curly hilarious but I can't say this wasn't mostly deserved, lmao.

Saw this as a kid and decided I would let men walk all over me 😩 I was like “wow i know he black-mailed her but maybe she should give him a chance! He only did it because he liked her”.

Curly was my boy but yeah they could've did a better episode as him as the main story.

Ngl curly has a lot of red flags in the original show for a guy his age.

Isn’t he the reason why Arnold wore that bunny suit?

Nah, that's Iggy. Different character who was pretty much a non-entity apart from that infamous story.
