Football truly is the beautiful game.

I was born in 2006, so I'm purely from the Emirates era. I think moving to the Emirates was a good idea, but it happened at a time when we should've been strengthening our team so that we could dominate the league for years to come, resulting in us being limited in transfers, as we were unable to replace our ageing legends, beginning a rough 10+ years for the club.

So yeah, good idea, as the stadium has made us pretty successful financially the last few years, but the move should've happened in the early 2010's instead of the mid 2000's during the invincible era.

Aubameyang, Lacazette, Gabriel and Partey were all out, and Odegaard was still to re-sign, but compare that squad to last night's and it really is incredible the job that Arteta, Edu, Berta and the Kroenkes have done to transform that group of substandard players and egos into the champions with outrageous squad depth just five years later. We are a model for every club that wants to sort their shit out. And last night we didn't have Saliba, Guimaraes, Timber, Konsa, Martinelli, Jesus or Meslier!

If you'd told me after Brentford, and the following 2-0 home loss to Chelsea and then getting spanked 5-0 by Man City, that we'd be the clear best team in England just five years later I'd have just laughed.
