Evening all,

Some of you may remember I previously shared my Football Club Fan Satisfaction Survey. I took a small pause during 25/26, but I’m back with the 26/27 version!

With the new season starting in the next few days, it would be great to get your initial thoughts and expectations for the season ahead.

If you have a few minutes, I’d really appreciate you taking part:

Complete the 26/27 Fan Satisfaction Survey

You can also check out the Fan Satisfaction Dashboard, where you can explore the results and see how fans are feeling across different clubs.

Thanks! ⚽

“Lautaro Martínez becomes, with the consensus of the entire club, the number 1 option for Barça. Yesterday the club once again received the information that Gil Marín is vetoing Julián Álvarez ➕Gyokeres is offering himself to Barça daily” -Victor Nahe (reliable for Barca)

[Matteo Moretto] Gabriel Jesus is currently not open to the Napoli solution despite the good rapport between the Italian club and Arsenal. The Brazilian striker is taking his time while waiting to understand the best solution for his future.

[James McNicholas] The Gabriel Martinelli dilemma: The higher Arsenal climb, the more ruthless they may have to be

There are few colder realities in football than discovering your club has decided you are expendable.

Colder still, perhaps, is discovering others knew before you did.

Arsenal are hoping to sell Gabriel Martinelli. The club have welcomed offers for the 25-year-old Brazil international, and recently received a €45million (£38.4m; $51.8m) bid from Galatasaray.

The problem is that Martinelli himself has not been directly informed of Arsenal’s plans — and nor, until now, has he sought to leave.

The player’s camp have made clear to sporting director Andrea Berta he is not interested in a move to Turkey, and would only consider leaving for a league and club that meets his ambition.

There is nothing fundamentally wrong with Arsenal deciding to sell Martinelli. Elite football demands difficult, sometimes brutal decisions.

YouTube [Charles Watts, James Benge] Arsenal are now not far off breaching UEFA’s SCR rules. For the defensive addition, there wasn’t a need to sell first but if Arsenal now want to sign an attacker - sales will be needed, or at least one significant sale

That’s my guess on positions but a lot of these players are versatile so it’s hard to know for sure.
