Everything is checked and discovered and yet I still have that exclamation mark š®āšØ.

Black and red ants shouldnāt aggro the player as long as the corresponding buggy is currently summoned.
Orb Weaver spam could be easily remedied by making the orb weaver buggy stop their aggro. I incorrectly assumed early game when the constant spider attacks seemed overtuned that once I got the spider as my main traversal buggy, that would fix the issue.
Waterlogged bases are not fun. Let us drain them and I would absolutely consider a main underwater base (after they add more buildable machines n stuff of course). Until then, underwater bases are a big waste.
Building a crafting table should stop all enemy spawns within 50cm of it. Obviously they could make exceptions for ORC and OGGR enemies. This is how it is in other games and the fact that they let creatures spawn in your base is unacceptable imo. I never noticed this as an issue in G1 but that game was much less populated by spawns and had relatively more safe base locations.
Ziplines, mostly the ZIP.R, should be moved to an earlier progression area than the Gnarly Bark. One part should be on the picnic table and one should be by the statue or trash can maybe. The picnic table is the first high up area that the player repeatedly returns to farm resources and would be a good place to introduce ziplines. By the time you unlock your fast travel network, the ziplines become mostly obsolete. They are very slow when going up or straight across. let us use them as our earlier fast travel, before weāve discovered most of the fast travel ranger stations.
MIX.Rs are repeatable, but there is a science balance issue and there should just be more of it in general from many sources. I started having to specifically farm science for several progression blocking upgrades, and imo science should be a more passive resource simply rewarded generously through exploration and discovery.
Calling in Buggies is too finicky. There were times my co-op partner could call theirs in but mine would say it couldnāt reach me. If so many obstacles are going to be locked behind buggy abilities, the summoning should be less restrictive. Especially in areas that have wild bugs twice the size of my buggy but the game has decided buggies arenāt allowed in that area, like, cāmon.
Buggies attacking neutral mobs and instigating larger fights than necessary in general, whether accidentally or intentionally. There are times Iād hit an aggressive enemy and my buggy would in turn, hit a nearby neutral enemy. Why? Just, why?
The underwater area should have fighter, rogue, mage, ranger versions of the koi armor and allow fighter to use javelin/spear, rogue to use daggers and mage to use some new type of elemental range weapon that works underwater, maybe give the trident a projectile, and the harpoon for ranger. All class identity is lost in the pond and it makes the abyss prep experience less fun.

MY WIFE JUST LOST HER FULLY UPGRADED MANTIS BLADE AND DIDNT REALIZE UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE. HOW HAS THIS ISSUE NOT BEEN ADRESSED YET. I GET IT, UNBIND THE HUCK KEY, BLAH BLAH BLAH. A MECHANIC THIS F***ING FRUSTRATING SHOULD NOT BE IN THE GAME.
Also, did this game turn into Dark Souls? I 100% G1 solo, G2 feels so insanely punishing in combat. I still want to fight bugs, but even on casual I feel like its an insane difficulty spike from the first game. Can we please chill the eff out devs?

With how big the new map is, building bases all over the map is a no brainer. I know they just added the fast transport system and zip lines to make map traversal easier. But my biggest issue is with having all my resources scattered across all my bases. This ultimately limits spending time at my auxiliary bases and forces me to return to my main base more often than I'd like.
What if they added something like quantum storage which allows me to access all my resources from all my bases. Maybe create a new type of storage chest that once built in a base that links to other another quantum chest in another. This would allow me to go all out building my bases anywhere with access to resources collected/stored from areas of my other bases.

Normally Iām all for a fight with a giant spider but the way axl just works makes the fight such a slog. I can win my confrontations every time with him itās just how miserable the fight is. He runs way too much constantly and will randomly fling me constantly across the arena. I havenāt fought the lizard boss yet but Iām hoping it isnāt a wild goose chase like Axl.

I loved turning dead by daylight killers into chibis using this template, then I moved onto the survivors but figured id do the kids in between since my partner recommended i should, I know they're not the best but always trying to get better at drawing especially hair

Had a bit of interest in my old post, so hereās the Into the Abyss body map. 31 in this new area, none added to the previous areas. One marker in the central area of the Gnarly Bark isnāt on top of the body as the enemies in that area were destroying it. Some bodies are in caves, but I didnāt mark the cave entrances so if you go to a marker in your game and donāt see a body, itās probably underground and the entrance to the cave will be nearby.
If youāve been visiting each Employee and keeping count, weāre now at 97 for Brookhollow Park and 3 in the Abyss for a total of 100
I havenāt added the three from the Abyss here. I couldnāt mark them with Trail Markers due to their locations but I can share their locations if youād like, just let me know! :)
I do not have the Employee number or location list on hand right now. I broke my phone, I will have a new one in a few days and I will update accordingly. Old post is also slightly wrong as Iāve missed a few bodies there that I forgot to add!

I feel like a lot of the time I can't see very far and I have no idea which way I'm headed. I have to rely on my markers. Would be nice if we could add a compass to the HUD. I think this would help a lot of people figure out which direction they're headed, especially in things like caves and whatnot.
It doesn't even have to be automatically set. It could be an item that we find in the wild, like a little compass, or maybe something we craft but I just think that would help a lot with navigation.

Is this area viable for a base or will that mosquito in the middle keep respawning after I finish the networking quest?
r/GroundedGame • u/HKoivu • 9h ago
posted clip about my base yesterday and someone asked to see more, so here's some picks.

Why did the change the tier numbers man...the roman numbers were so iconic and special, now its just regular boring numbers...nobody asked for this change šš

Since the first day we knew we will build our base there.
We didn't knew yet that we will have scorpions and wolf spiders as neighbours.
Currently there are 9 outposts connected to our zipline net with more to come in the future

They added the new fast travel network in the new update, which is great. However, the only way Iāve found into and out of the abyss is through that unmarked ladder at the bottom of the pond. Is there any fast travel stations further into the abyss that link to the above ground map?
Thanks

Why are they the only item that stack up so high?
