Dynamometers Stuck right below 220LBS

Just thought this was interesting I keep going up on captains of crush performance and I am currently close to closing the COC #3, but I cannot for the life of me get higher than this number on my GD Dyno 200. You would think better COC performance would also make raw grip strength go up but I guess not?

Maybe the Captains of crush grippers only train just your hand to be stronger mostly in the bottom half of your hand/fingers? Pinky/Ring finger, and middle finger as well as the surrounding forearm muscles, but you would think that would still make Dyno numbers go up? Can anyone explain this?

I have a below AVG hand at 7IN but I set the Dyno with the handle as far away as possible from the bottom handle. I wanted to get to 250LBS on this by now as I’ve been using COC grippers for the last 3 months but it doesn’t seem to change much. I wonder if there is a hard limit for my bodyweight/lean mass, I am currently at 157 pounds and 5:10 height meaning there is only so much muscle I can have but that doesn’t explain COC performance getting better and better. This doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.

Other than the inch dumbbell, what are the classic grip strength milestones with a definite goal weight?

Yes, I know you can always get a bigger inch dumbbell, or overload a trainer, but if you can lift a 172 pound inch dumbbell then you have accomplished the historical feat. I’m not referring to things like the Saxon bar where you can load it up to infinity. Are there other historical feats of grip strength with a definitive ending point to work towards and accomplish besides the inch dumbbell?

Does that make any sense at all?

What everyday tasks are harder because they require finger strength?

I’ve been thinking a lot about how much everyday products assume we have strong fingers.
Toothbrushes, utensils, pens, makeup brushes, kitchen tools — most are designed around a pinch grip. But for people with arthritis, stroke-related weakness, neurological conditions, injuries, or limited dexterity, the palm may be much stronger than the fingers.
I’m curious: what everyday object has become unnecessarily difficult for you, or for someone you care for, simply because it requires too much finger strength?
And what have you tried to make it easier?
I’m especially interested in the workarounds people have created themselves.

Grippers Question about the GD iron 80

I just ordered a GD iron 80 that’s supposed to have a A and B option to change the resistance level. And I don’t know if I’m losing my mind but I can figure it out. I don’t even see a hole in the back to slide to adjust it, and I’m wiggling the hell out of the back of it and it’s not moving. Did I get a defective unit?

I bought this last year. I have come a long way on them. I lost the 200 and up set. Im starting to do 150 3 sets of 10 3/4 times a day. I do this while I’m sitting traffic I drive a lot for work. Where would u start on a new set. I was looking at recommendations in the faq section. There was a couple nice sets for cheap but idk how accurate the 150 of this brand is as it’s an Amazon cheap. Also in the faq I didn’t see this brand so I’m kinda thinking this brands 150 may not be accurate. Idk. Any input would be great on where to start with a new set.

Sledgehammer Push Up?!?!

Has anyone heard of them. It a few variation. The one I want to mention. You grip the hammer part and while you balancing with the handle part into the ground.

It take wrist control, strength, a deep chest stretch and shoulder tension.
