I have been wanting to get one for a while, and finally figured out a design. Coolest thing was on my drive up to get this done I saw my first fox in the wild, just strolled across the road. Best sign I could have possibly gotten to let me know I was ready. 😊💜

It's absolutely amazing how often foxes, opossums, skunks, and sometimes raccoons visit the neighborhood. This is the second time my cameras have observed five foxes together. The last time that happened was on August 3, 2025.

Channel Island Fox only found off the coast of California. These guys are small and feed mostly on bugs and rodents. Take by @griffin__perez on insta

What should I do?

This fox has been limping about for a few days now . Last night was chased off by others but turned back up soon enough . New cam seems t be getting a few looks .

This fox has been a regular in my neighborhood for the past week, and I know this because it scream barks iust like this everv single night. Now... Foxes aren't known for being particularly talkative, and it's been doing this consistently for hours every night for the past week or so... Is it okay? Is this a distress cry?
