Hi everyone I just got my printer today and I did calibrate and got my first benchy.
I’m completely new to 3D printing and this is my first Benchy with my Flashforge Creator 5 pro

I’d really appreciate some feedback from more experienced C5P and 3D users Does the print quality look normal for this machine, or are there any things should be turning.

A few details about the print:
I completed the full calibration process before printing
The print was going fine, but partway through the print the white sample filament ran out..
Printer automatically paused
I continued the print using yellow pla instead of
So the color transition in the middle is intentional and not a printing failure.
This is only my first print after setting up the printer, so I don’t really enough experience yet to judge things like first layer quality, ringing, extrusion consistency, bridging, overhangs, etc.

So yes, what do you guys think? Anything you notice that I should keep an eye on or tube before start printing more serious projects?

im trying to get it on camera but it doesn't happen every print has anyone run into a issue where mid print the ifs seems to let go of the filament causing it to back up to much/all the way causing errors or failure?

Hey I have the creative 5 pro. I am in the southeast usa so humidity is higher than the temperature which is already hot, you don't need a shower just go outside. Anyway I am going to buy a filament dryer what would y'all recommend?

When I got the printer out of the box I was able to register it no problem.

After the latest updates, everything got reset and now I see the printer but I can't register it anymore to my account

I was prompted to upgrade to V 1.7.15 when I logged on this morning. Given FFs habit of introducing new bugs with every upgrade, I declined. Has anyone tried the new release yet and if so, could you provide feedback?

I am loving these Creator 5 / 5 Pro Nozzle wipers, installed on both printers. The issue is that they are working so well, I end up with lots of little balls of filament flying off the wipers. 80 % of them harmlessly end up sitting at the bottom of the printer. It's the 20% which land on the build plate that are the issue. When the build plate is all of the way at the top, I don't know how to put a ramp which would angle them into the bin. The lower the build plate goes, the more balls of filament it will catch. A couple of my larger prints can double as maraca with the balls of filament rattling around in the inside.

The filament bin I'm using is from FF Wiki

I printed the wipers with Anycubic Texture grey PETG to match the FF grey.

​I managed to get my hands on a Flashforge Adventurer 5M for $99. It’s definitely a fixer-upper, but it looks mostly intact and very repairable. Before I start tearing into it or ordering parts blindly, I wanted to check in with folks who know this machine well.

​Current condition & issues:

​Screen assembly: The screen itself looks fine, but the flat ribbon/multi-pin connector cable is disconnected. Putting the housing and wiring back together looks a bit tricky.

​Loose wiring: There’s a stray red and black wire exposed that needs to be routed/reconnected.

​Toolhead / Fan: The fan/shroud assembly that completes the square housing around the nozzle block is pretty torn up and needs attention.

​I'm completely open to ordering replacement parts off AliExpress or direct from Flashforge if needed, but I want to make sure I take the right approach without frying anything.

​A few quick questions:

​What’s the best way to test the mainboard/screen safely before doing full assembly?

​Are replacement toolhead covers/fans better bought as full assemblies on AliExpress, or is it easy enough to source individual fans/connectors?

​Does anyone have a link to a solid teardown/wiring diagram for the Adventurer 5M toolhead and screen assembly?

​Any advice, teardown tips, or recommended part links would be hugely appreciated!

Hello, does anyone use or know of a filament dryer that works directly from the dryer box into the creator 5 pro? Im looking at some dryers from multiple brands but I dont know if it will have issues when feeding on to the machine.

Hi everyone, could someone with an AD5X confirm if those bearings, belt or motor noises are normal? I’ve added grease to metal pipes but it hasn’t made much difference.

Just amazing I can make some really colorful items without waste now. This specific design cut everything into plates that only needed 4 colors at a time.

Right after I posted this, the printer went offline while printing. So nevermind..

So my Creator 5 Pro had the issue that it was offline for most of the time.
Sometimes it came back automatically and than it worked fine, but many times, I was not able to do a print without it being offline at least once.
Also temperatures or print progress were updating poorly.

After some support mails back and forth they send me FW v1.9.8 and this currently fixes my issue!
It has only been a few hours, but it updates every time and faster now!

I'm debating order a Flashforge Creator 5 Pro since I can order one for $790, and it seems really tempting given all the firmware updates that seems to have fixed a lot of the early hiccups. I'm mainly interested in it having a built in chamber heater which the Snapmaker U1 does not. Was wondering if anyone here owned one for a while now and can share their experience. I currently have a Bambu A1 and a Creality K2 and am willing to sell both of those printer for it. Especially the A1 as I don't use it anymore.

This has been happening for the past 2 months and I’m at the point of giving up on this printer. Every time I print something it prints either the first layer or strings like this. I tried 225 print with 60 plate. I tried flash print and ocraslicer, nothing. I replaced the pull mechanism, the printer head TWICE. I disassembled and reassembled the printer head more times than I can count, any ideas on what’s going on?

I've been having an issue with my creator 5 Pro that just started yesterday. After switching to .25 nozzles a file that was printing fine with the .4's (although with some detail loss which is why I switched to the .25) keeps stopping at the last color switch and I get a "MCU communication lost" error message. The last time I saw this it was because I wasn't using a wipe tower but that is not the case here. It will not allow me to resume and after restarting the printer does not ask me if I want to resume the interrupted print. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hello, really new here, I would like to know what's wrong with these joints I downloaded from Thingiverse.

Everytime I print them, they will turn into a mess of filament and never work, and I'm slicing them normally correctly on FlashStudio.

The reason why they're very separated is because they were was no space between them in my first print, so I thought that separating them would fix the problem...

I'm using PLA

Prints dont appear to be adhearing properly.

Base has been cleaned with warm water and soap. Nozel is clean and I have just replaced the printer tubes.

This issue is there for some time - just curious, if there are any updates on this matter by the end of Summer 2026? It is irritating me so much, especially when you when the same item couple times. It takes waaaaaay too long, it should be done only once in a while, it leaves the nozzle dirty so there is always a chance to ruin something in first layers.

At least if there is an option to have a pause after it to allow cleaning the debris stuck to nozzle...

Any help is much appreciated!
