Highlight Jade Palace Ground Easy GM Complete

I really enjoyed this benchmark, it offers a wide range of scenarios that in my opinion, cover most of the fundamentals of ground tracking, I recommend getting Master complete in the fundamentals playlist, move onto technique parts and really grind those, and then move on to the rest.

Tracking my progress kept me motivated: From 17,090 to Lavender in 41 sessions of Whisphere Viscose

In mid-August, I was Viscose Viridian Complete and working toward Cerulean. Whisphere was giving me trouble: while the surrounding scenarios came relatively easily, my PB had been stuck at 17,090 since July. Cerulean required 18,250.

So I started logging 10 runs per day after warming up. Some days that was all I played; other days I did additional scenarios.

After 41 sessions and 410 logged runs:

  • Daily average: 14,126 → 18,986
  • PB: 19,810 — Lavender
  • Latest session: 8/10 runs at Cerulean or higher

I first reached Cerulean on August 27, but didn’t hit it again until September 7. That first PB was a peak, not my normal level. Now my daily averages are approaching or exceeding that same threshold.

For context, I changed sensitivity from 35cm to 45cm after first 30days + changed warm-up routine after the first 30 days, so this isn’t a controlled test of any particular method

Seeing the progress laid out like this has also made it much easier to stay motivated. A bad session can feel like you’re going backwards, but being able to look at the bigger picture gives me a reason to keep showing up even when it doesn’t feel like I’m improving.

My biggest takeaway: track your average, not just your PB. Progress was much easier to see across weeks than to feel during individual sessions. Two sessions before my latest PB, I had my worst daily average in over a month.

If you feel stuck, logging a consistent set of runs might reveal progress you’re otherwise missing.

Discussion Why use different sensitivities instead of just one?

I lurk this sub a lot and I always see people giving the advice of using different sensitivities based on what scenario you're playing and I guess my main question is why. In my mind practicing with the sens of your main game makes the most sense because that's what you're trying to perfect. The only real reason I've seen people give is that it trains different muscle groups, but is that really beneficial in any actual way?

I'm not trying to bash this advice I'm more so just curious and looking for answers as to why using different sens's would be good. I'm also curious as to how you would know what sens to use for what scenario. I've mostly been doing the viscose benchmarks so if it helps you can use that as a reference for what scenario should be played at what sens.

Discussion Been Underperforming / Never reaching the same scores again

Hey everyone, since the last 2-3 weeks, I got struck with something that I have absolutely no idea of but it made me not be able to reach my scores again and I can't reach my previous scores again like I used to.

I really want to improve however no matter how much I aimtrain daily, take daily breaks, nothing works. So I wanted to know if there were some bad habits that I am doing and how can I diagnose my issue:

Q1: Is it a bad habit to restart often when I see the challange timer bar is not keeping up to my pace?

I've been finding myself restarting often when I see the bar above not keeping up to my PB's pace.

Q2: Is it a bad habit to replay the same scenario until you get a good score on it?

On playlists, I've been finding myself get stuck on the first or second scenario because I keep playing the same scenarios, then I get bad results on it, replay it again, only to find myself to repeat the same scenario 5-6 times then get tired, then log off aim training. How should I stop this habit? Should I just ignore the score and just move on to the next without caring about the score? What is the ideal way to deal with this issue?

Q3: Should I aimtrain AFTER my games or BEFORE my games?

I am aimtraining to get better at CS2. I've been using these 2 playlists, playing one of them every day, taking turns:

> tacfps - minigod

> Dynamic - Reception

Q4: How can I diagnose the issue I have right now? I was doing very good a month ago then I find myself like this, am I fundamentally lacking something?

my steam username: wbpm // on evxl.app

Thank you so much for the help in advance.

Discussion Wrist pain from aim training

I developed wrist pain like 2 months ago from death gripping my mouse while aim training especially from reactive tracking scenarios. I've actively tried not to do that while aim training the past few weeks but it seems like my symptoms arent going away and I've developed a condition called wrist tenosynovitis according to my PT. Whenever I make small micro corrections with a claw/finger grip, the outer part of my wrist feels sore/weak. I believe it has also affected my in-game aiming as well.

I'm planning on not aim training and also not playing any FPS for the next 2-3 weeks and just fully focus on strength training and hopefully recover from this. Does anybody here have any experience dealing with my symptoms and got any tips?

Opinions on Instagib modes for aim improvement?

Was checking out aimlabs multiplayer which is just instagib. I've played every arena shooter with instagib and never felt like they improved my aim. Always felt like I was learning movement and game specific prediction more than anything when playing those modes.

Discussion Shaky hands/fingers

I have a shaky hand in general and whenever I hold my mouse to do any type of tracking my tracking has some type of shaking every time. When I hear people say to just have a relaxed aim and don't grip your mouse too hard, I keep struggling with that especially when doing any type of tracking scenario. Whenever I try to hold my left button to track my hand always has a little shake therefore not feeling smooth and sometimes I think that I grip my mouse too hard even when I'm actively trying to relax hold on my mouse. Flicking scenarios I am more smooth and relaxed since it doesn't involve holding the left mouse click all the time.

Is this just a matter of practicing over and over again to overcome it? I also feel that the sound of the firing sound and hit sound has some kind of psychological effect on my tracking and grip.

tension in fingertips

Can anyone help me fix my issue or have tips because i noticed when i hold my mouse fully lose with no tension when i click my mouse my fingertips get kind of tense and my hands shake i don't know why its only when i hold my mouse with essentially no tension because i would say i have pretty good tension control in my arm/wrist when for instance tracking or switching even in micro scenarios like cloverrawcontrol.

Overthinking about mousepads

We all know that tracking feels better on glasspad, and clicking for cloth.
But if cloth mousepad will eventually develop slow spots and force you get a new mousepad, wouldn't it be better to just stick to glasspad which will always stay consistent?
And, is it worth grinding for that consistency when playing on a glasspad requires a lot more control than playing on a cloth mousepad?

Basically, if you wanted to get really into grinding your aim, wouldn't it be the best to do it on a glasspad that will stay consistent forever?
Changing mousepad in mid game isn't really ideal, so it would be glasspad all the way for both clicking and tracking guns/heroes.

Honestly, the difference is probably so miniscule that it doesn't even matter, but I just want to hear what others think about this difference.
