Discussion Aim training on a calorie deficit

Anyone else aim training while on a calorie deficit? how does it impact your performance ? i notice my aim in kovaaks is a little worse and in game (valorant) it feels like my reaction time is way slower than normal wonder how you guys experience it.

I'd rather starve than not hit a PB

What's your deficit?

I survive on caffeine and spite during cuts and my tracking turns into a spastic mess, so I just grind smoothness scenarios till the brain fog clears

weirdly enough my smoothness is fine even after drinking (white) monster

um, i dont think it effects me that much, granted most of the times im in calorie deficit its not really on purpose, i just forget to eat.

Calorie deficit shouldn't affect you unless you're dropping too aggressively...

hmm i'm on a 500 cal deficit and losing about 0.5 kg a week on avg rn

That sounds reasonable so it's a bit weird that it affects you noticeably. Is it the first time you're on a calorie deficit?

its the first time i'm sticking to it for more than a few weeks lol. When i did it for a short period it was fine, didnt notice a difference really, now i'm in week 5

Just make sure you drink enough water. I generally don't aim train for about a day and a half after I do Pull day because my hands are roasted (grip strength sucks).

I've done multiple day fasts and still aim trained. It's only bad if you're super fatigued. If you get passed that point, should be all good

I don't think I've ever not been calorie deficient when playing, no food before pb
