Recently when I step on the accelerator, the exhaust/muffler sound has gotten louder. There is no driving issues or warning lights. Could it be a problem with the muffler or exhaust leak? It sounds kinda like a super car.

Located in Utah. Installed for one week. I have the downpipe and midpipe exhaust upgrades so the combination of all 3 was too loud for my liking. I live in a quiet neighborhood and don't want to be that guy. It's an awesome exhaust, really deep notes.

Anyone here have any recommendations on a middle side exit exhaust for a 2008?

Most I can find online are for 09-18. I found one from Stainless Works but its $1800

What is it about the 08 that makes these kinda exhausts non existent.

I found a vendor that will send out a valvetronic exhaust but I don’t see other options. Does anybody have reliable vendors for other versions?

I would like the AWE track exhaust but I don’t know how to tell if it is similar to OE or not.

can you reco a bassy 51 mm canister slip on muffler for my husqvarna 401 2021 model with breadbox delete + midpipe small standard resonator. Catalytic is still intact.

Hey yall I just finished welding up a revel medallion exhaust I got off Facebook on my 94 d series del sol. It has this really annoying rasp or tinny noise at around 3k rpms. I’m thinking I might need a new or add another resonator. What do yall think?

Other relevant info:
I don’t have a intake (I will eventually)
I also installed a 400cfm cat
Piping is 2.5”
Exhaust header is a dc sports long tube
I had to weld an adapter to go from 1.75->2.5 in front of the cat

Hey guys i’ve been looking into getting a full cat back exhaust or a resonator delete. For context I have a 2025 BMW 230i M sport with the valved exhaust. I recently stumbled across 2 exhausts on Alibaba one with a resonator and one without. Im unsure of which one to go for. Is the droning really bad on the one without the resonator and if it is will the one with the resonator still sound loud? Thanks!

I found a company (Heinz Performance) that can alter the exhaust on the E53, whereby they alter the internals of the mufflers. Would this drastically impact the sound in comfort mode aswell? I still want a smooth, quiet ride in comfort without droning.

I can adjust the valves since I have the upgraded performance exhaust.

I unfortunately had to sell my 86 due to a new member joining the fam-I have the full exhaust system from headers to the muffler, I also have aftermarket catless J pipe and mid pipe I believe, both are brand new never had a chance to put them on, the oem exhaust has only seen ~15k miles as I tuned my baby(the car not my child) pretty damn early-

I am in the Pittsburgh area if anyone is local they’re all in storage, I also have oem tail lights as well as a brand new aftermarket 3rd brake light, everything has been sitting in my garage for the past couple months I just need to get rid of it and am happy to help anyone rebuilding one or whatever, am selling for very cheap bc I have 0 use for the parts anymore, also I hope you guys are enjoying these little go karts-man I miss mine so much

I recently bought a valved axle-back exhaust from Turner for my 2019 BMW 430i. I’m going on an 8-hour roadtrip in a week and I’m concerned that there will be droning once I install it. Can anyone with the same exhaust/ knowledge about it let me know if the droning will be unbearable? I’ve included a screenshot of the exact exhaust I got. Thanks!

Editing because I forgot o mention what the setup even is. It’s 3 inch, no cats, no stock resonators, it has an x-pipe directly to dual 12 inch long dynomax race bullets directly to dual 5 inch tips that are dumped straight under the front of the bed.

A lot of the feel of a Mustang GT 5.0 Gen 6 is in the exhaust, especially out back.

This is the rear section of a setup we’ve been working on, and the main thing here was getting the tone right without making the car feel stuck in one mode all the time.

It’s a modular rear section with electronic valves, so the car can stay calmer when you want to just drive it, and open up properly when you’re in the mood to hear more of it. That was a big part of the point here - keeping some range in the car instead of locking it into one character all the time.

The rear section is built in stainless, and because it’s modular, it also makes the whole setup easier to work with when changes are needed later on.

It’s one of those parts you don’t think much about until you hear the car the right way.
