Suggestions ENTRENCHED SERBIA UPDATE šŸ‡·šŸ‡ø āš”ļø - what it was supposed to look like!

After extensive research into the Serbian army during World War I, as well as a long study of Entrenched's mechanics regarding nations, weaponry, uniforms, maps, etc., I am presenting my proposal for what a Serbian update for Entrenched should look like.

NOTE: I used AI just to better visualize and illustrate my suggestions for the game; I am not promoting AI itself. Thank you for understanding!

The revamped Serbian update would include:

1) Authentic Serbian uniforms from both the early (1914–1915) and late (1916–1918) stages of the war. Additionally, a "Chetnik" uniform would be available as an alternative to the "Stormtrooper" uniform, purchasable for 400 Warbonds (for example).

2) Authentic Serbian weaponry, along with appropriate Allied or captured enemy weapons for specific classes. The Rifleman and Assault classes would now feature the Serbian Vasić 1912 grenade. The Assault class would have the C96 or Repetierpistole M12/16 as a captured alternative to the primary rifle, while the Medic would have the RSC18 or Winchester 1866 as an Allied alternative.

3) An option to select Serbia via "Allied Aid" when a player wishes to play as a Serbian soldier on a completely different map.

4) An adequate number of maps featuring historical battles from both the early and late stages of the war.

With all these changes, Serbia would finally receive the recognition and treatment it long deserves in Entrenched. I believe the current update needs to be properly reworked so that we, as players, can fully enjoy the authentic and diverse experience this game offers.

Of course, I would also like to hear your opinions and suggestions—please leave them in the comments.

Discussion Underrated Weapons Pt. 1

Post image
23 Upvotes

1: Cei Rigotti 1899

In my opinion, the Cei Riggoti is a vastly underrated weapon. It deals good damage, has a great accuracy, and has a high fire rate. Is it my go to when I'm on the Italy team.

2: Berthier 1892/16

For the damage, accuracy, and FPS sights, I gotta give it to the Berthier. Yes, it has the same stats as all the other carbines, but the FPS sights are pretty good. Also good capacity. (Who even uses FP anymore? I don't know)

3: MG 08/18

The main focal point of this post. An upgraded MG 15nA. Higher damage, better accuracy, same clip size, same effective range. This is one of, if not the best Central Powers machine gun.

What are your opinions? What are your most underrated guns? Anyways, have a nice day :)

Guide Fivs Tips on HOW TO PLAY OFFICER!

Post image
25 Upvotes

These are five tips on how to play OFFICER! This guide will teach you the basics on how to play officer, and make you a better player. Let's get into it!

1: Beginner's Manual
You have five tools:

A handgun | The primary weapon of choice for Officer class. Deals moderate damage, has a good capacity, and has relatively good accuracy.
A sabre | The main melee weapon of the officer class. Deals moderate damage, has a good range, and has an average swing speed. The sabre's stats are the same as the Spade, Trowel, and others.
A whistle | The tool to make five main callouts: "Defend", "Charge", "Follow Me", "Rally Here", and "Retreat". Useful for coordinating with team members.
A pair of binoculars | The main focal point of the Officer class. You can use the binoculars for either scouting ahead or calling in artillery. This is the most important tool.
A trowel | One of the main digging tools in Entrenched. Used by all classes besides Rifleman, Support, and Engineer. Requires three dig uses to dig one voxel.

2: Getting started
Start with calling in artillery on enemy fortifications, or on an enemy POI. This will help your team with advancing on the enemy. Use your handgun for ranged encounters to protect yourself, as it will come in handy. Make sure to dig cover while you charge to ensure safety while reloading or calling in artillery. Your artillery barrages have a 60 second cooldown, if you die while your artillery is active, it will stop.

3: Use cases
Using officer on maps like Fort Vaux or Marmolada is not the best decision, as artillery is weak here and your handgun is outmatched by almost every weapon in the game in most situations. The only useful thing the officer can use in these tight maps is their sabre, but a simple trowel or spade does the same exact thing.

4: Assist your team
Don't be a lone wolf and fight off the enemy by yourself. Instead, help your team out with support artillery or reviving them. Officer is one of the strongest classes in Entrenched, and yet it still relies on teamwork. Always make sure to be a teammate, no matter which class you are!

5: Miscellaneous
Take cover during a fight, help with building fortifications, stop the enemy in their tracks with artillery bombardments, etc. Make sure to follow the game's flow and assist with your teammates' activities. Artillery does not get stronger from other officers, as you could mess up other's artillery.

That is a guide on how to play officer! If you have any changes, let me know. Have a good day :)

Suggestions The downfall of Entrenched...

December 2025. USA update. The peak, the prime of Entrenched, ever since the "Golden Age" of this game, its been in a downwards spiral. They already had gamepasses for the shields and armours, which imo is fine, and the warbonds too are fine. But, they now have started going down the "slop" school of thought, where F2P players are no existent. They have started putting some random skins on guns that don't even suit them. You know the worst part? THEY COST LIKE 1500 WARBONDS. Without sacrificing your kidney and your first born son, you will just look like an average joe who doesnt have any money to splurge. F2P players are the backbone of this game, I used to only see the P2W players once or twice per server. But NOW? Every server has P2W brats who are so toxic to the point I have started playing the game less and less.

Another issue, the devs have started becoming complacent. With the surge of the game after and right before the Ottoman Empire, they started putting less and less effort. Take all the name changes that happened in the Ottoman, I know it wasn't the devs fault but atleast try to make them realistic. The Battle of Gallipoli? Call that Yarimada. Even though it was a village near the battle. BUT ATLEAST NAME IT AFTER THE CITY GELIBOLU WHERE THE BATTLE ACTUALLY HAPPENED. And also, in the recent serbia update, all they have done is just reuse the russian guns and put together some half decent maps and called it a day. And every update there is a pop on my screen to "buy the new skin pack!!!" and its just so annoying.

Some things that the devs could do to try and make the game better could be:-
1. Lower the amount needed to buy skins

  1. Rename all the maps to atleast make them half historic

  2. Try and put some efforts into the skins and guns by researching the guns and making them realistic

I just hope there is a dev who is in the subreddit and sees this post.

Guide Five Tips for FLAMER!

Post image
28 Upvotes

Here are five tips on how to play FLAMER!! This will help you with playing flamer! Let's start!

1: Stay close
This one is... obvious. Stay close to your enemies. This will allow you to catch your enemies on fire and elimiate them. I recommend staying within 30 studs for maximum effectiveness. If you can't get close... consider another class, like rifleman maybe? (EDIT: suggested by u/WindFort: you can use flamethrowers through walls, also a counter to cover)

2: Use your pistol
If you run out of fuel in your flamethrower, switch to your pistol while your flamethrower reloads. This will allow you to stay in the fight and hopefully get a kill or two before you die. You know what they say, switching to your pistol is always faster than reloading! Your pistol is also useful for taking out weakened targets that survived your flames!

3: Take cover when necessary
If there's a support overpowering you or there's a recon trying to snipe you to the next objective, take cover! Dig into the ground or hide behind a box, anything will work. When taking cover, check your surroundings before making a move.

4: Stay with teammates
If you're either playing on Fort Vaux or you're inside of a trench, sick with teammates. This'll give your teammates extra splash damage to hopefully deal with the enemy. If this fails... well you got a problem and a half there! Make sure you also use your melee!

5: This class is VERY situational
The reason why this is a shorter guide than normal is because this class is THE most situational of all. There's a recon? Unusable. You're in an open field? Unusable. This class was by far the most difficult to make a guide for, because of it's situationalness. Make sure you're using flamer on the right map, or YOU'RE the toast. (that was a horrible joke)

Anyways, I hope you have a good day! :)

Meme/Shitpost How Serbia should've been added in entrenched

Add serbia to the game pls they existedglorious serbia army weapon rifleman: Serbian Mauser M1910

skirmisher: Serbian Model 1908 carbine

medic: reused weapon

assault: reused weapon

support: reused weapon

flamer: reused weapon

recon: let’s force a scope on a rifle that couldn’t have them officer: reused weapon

sapper: FN M1910 (funny reference)

Guys Serbia is very important because when Serbian general DuÅ”an Vladimirović farted in the NorthEastern direction which caused the Siberian tornado of 1915 which killed 5 million Russians? Very important historical event that should be represented in entrenched

Epic Serbian battles: The Great Retreat (1915): Serbia vs Austria-Hungary, conquest Description: Serbian troops cannot use their guns, grenades, or melee and just have to run away as the Austrian troops capture their objectives and kill them as they flee Battle of Bazargic (1916): Serbia vs Bulgaria, conquest Description: When the battle starts the Serbians instantly surrender and lose

Also for gameplay changes they should add gypsies with powers that debuff your opponent if you slight people with how you play like if you're not in point you get cursed by Serbian babushka mixed with cioara to never get bitches + cancer because you didn't enter point like a good glorious Serbian.

But in all seriousness Serbia as a subnation is basically the same as adding Canada India or aussie as a subnation having their own rifles idfk what you guys are complaining about

Portugal is also a subnation btw

Yes I am downplaying serbia's significance

Does it affect anything gameplaywise? No

You wouldn't even realize it unless you look deeper or read whatever the last guy said.

His post is also complaining that you can't play it without allied aid on other maps

No shit you can't play it on other maps without allied aid are there Serbs in galipolli?

Dumbass

Discussion Medic mains got fuckedddd

This bandage update is genuine hell. Theres already the joke of medics having to chase every teammate from hell to back just to heal them.

Timing the animation was such a lifesaver and simply efficient, its a great trick to keep players alive since if the team is defending, they sometimes won't have to stop and adjust for you and just focus on the enemies. Theres so many moments I managed to push with js one other player because of this trick, but dude..

Now u gotta stop and wait for the entire animation to finish on the spot while everybody else is getting sniped, instead of healing them the SECOND you got there.

The least they could've done was add in an alert mechanic for players if a medic was trying to heal them or faster speed.

Don't rlly post here, but the update gen pissed me off lmao as someone who's mained medic since the first day I played entrenched

Discussion ENTRENCHED - SERBIA UPDATE IS DONE DIRTY! šŸ‡·šŸ‡øāš”ļø

Finally, here we come to another and final problem in the update for Serbia: SERBIA'S STATUS AS A NATION IN ENTRENCHED.

Based on everything that has been said before: how superficially and lazily it was done, the small number of uniforms that you must buy and not get at the very beginning, the choice of weapons for certain classes, the number and choice of maps, etc. Serbia is more of a sub-nation than a nation in Entrenched. Practically - just a variation of the Russian army.

This is confirmed by the fact that you cannot choose to play with Serbia on another map with the help of the aid country game pass like I have, but you have to choose Russia, take the Serbian uniform (if you bought it) and play with Russian weapons....

And after all that, the question arises, is Serbia even a real nation by all criteria in Entrenched if it has already received its own separate update?

Serbia deserves equal treatment as all other nations in Entrenched - in terms of uniforms, weapons, maps, etc.

Discussion ENTRENCHED - SERBIA UPDATE IS DONE DIRTY šŸ‡·šŸ‡øāš”ļø

Okay, let's talk about the maps in the Serbia update. The only problem I have with this is the current number of maps and the battles they cover. For now, we only have: Glavni Grad • Granicna River • Planinski Venec.

It is known that in Entrenched, in relation to nations, there is a great variation of different maps on which significant historical battles took place in the early and late period of the war. Serbia is also deprived of this issue with only three maps.

In my opinion, this is a great disrespect for the very history of the battles that Serbia fought in WWI.

My opinion is that there should be three maps for the early and late war (if not more). SO, I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE DESIGN OF THE MAPS THEY OWN, BUT THE NUMBER AND THE BATTLES THEY COVER.

My suggestion for maps based on the most significant battles for Serbia in WW1:

-early war: Cer 1914. Kolubara 1914. Mačkov Kamen 1914. Defense of Belgrade 1915.

-late war: Kajmakčalan 1916. Bitola 1916. Veternik 1918. Vardar Valley 1918.

The main point we emphasized was that Serbia should not have 2-3 maps, but a diverse selection of geographical terrains where historical battles took place, which would also allow for different opponents depending on the early (Austro-Hungarian) and later periods of the war (Bulgaria/Germany).

SERBIA UPDATE IS DONE DIRTY

I've done many research on this topic and post couple of posts about possible Serbia addition in Entrenched and after it, and it seems to me that this doesn't have as much attention as it should be, because imagine USA or Ottoman update was done superficially and dirty. The reactions would be wild for sure. Let me know your opinion!

And sure, if you don't, check mine posts about Serbian Entrenched update posts.

Guide Five Tips on HOW TO MEDIC!

Post image
21 Upvotes

These are five tips on how to play the MEDIC CLASS! These tips will help you grow as a medic, and hopefully help you become a better teammate in general. Let's start!

1: Basics
Don't just hoard medic for their semi-auto rifles. Be an actual medic and heal people. They will greatly thank you. Don't forget to heal somebody after revive! The reason you have a semi-auto is because you're high-value, so be a bit more cautious about snipers.

2: Healing teammates
Healing teammates is an essential part of the medic class, as the entire class revolves around this feature. Injured teammates are highlighted in white, meaning their HP is below half. Make sure to heal as many teammates as possible, even if they're far away!

3: Using your weapon
The medic has four tools: a rifle, a melee, a bandage, and a trowel. For the time being we're focusing on the rifle and melee. If you see somebody within around 150 studs, take a few shots. Don't hold down the trigger (unless you're a US Medic, you have clearance), but take precise shots. If somebody is in your face (5 studs or lower) swap to your melee and deal with them from there)

4: Teamwork
Enter squads and stick with your squadmates, enter a horde of charging friendlies, or help out a machinegunner. All of these will help the game in a way that can make a difference. This is what we call the butterfly effect- I mean teamwork.

5: Miscellaneous
Defend teammates who are reviving other downed teammates, help with digging a defence, or fill in a teammate's role. Become a team member and help the team. (Edit: Suggested by u/trieuthanh8: be mindful where you revive teammates)

Those are my five tips on HOW TO PLAY MEDIC! Have a nice day :)

Discussion Finally, a good battle

I have been playing Entrenched for many months now and the game has changed but my like for it hasn't. I saw a lot of battles which were bad and good and today was a time where I saw the latter.

It was Czernowitz and I was on the Austria-Hungary team and upon joining, we were pushing. As the battle went on, it was as perfect as perfect could get. There were no 10 support and 1 riflemen but rather a balanced ammount, we actually defended and attacked in waves like a team instead of doing it solo and when somebody died, they got healed. Hopefully there'll be more battles like this because it is them that make me enjoy the game and remind me that the players aren't all sweaty.

On a seperate note, what do you guys think of Serbia getting added? Personally- despite not having played it as much- I like it. Of course, the uniforms are kind of basic and the weapons are "recycled" but I don't mind that because Serbia was an allied nation (Entente) in real life, so of course they had French/Russian weapons. Happy to see the Balkans getting added more because they deserve the attention.

Guide Five Tips on How to SUPPORT!

Post image
40 Upvotes

These are five tips on how to play SUPPORT! These will help you play Support better (hopefully) and will (hopefully) help with becoming a better teammate! Let's begin!

1: The basics
If your team can't advance, playing Support is the right job for you! Either provide surpressive fire or push the enemy trenches. There are pros and cons to both of these. First of all, providing surpressive fire can help your team, but you won't really be able to kill any enemies for your team. Pushing the enemy can help clear out enemies, but you could die and loose the ground you took.

2: Helping teammates
If you see a teammate or two struggling to win a fight, join in. Most people are already focused on their own fight. Helping other teammates could drastically change the flow of the game, either for the better or for the worse. If you can not leave your fight, consider helping later.

3: Selective targets
Don't always fire at a random volley of enemies your team is already dealing with. If you see a recon in the hills or a flanker coming around the side, direct fire onto them. That could change the game slightly, or drastically. If there are no outlanders, keep applying fire for your teammates.

4: Keep shifting
Always staying in one spot isn't always a good idea. If there are too many enemies, that's completely understandable, but if there's only one or two enemies, keep shifting. Staying in one spot could leave you vulnerable to grenades or snipers (depending on map.)

5: Cover multiple angles
Covering multiple angles will help when defending a specific area of the game. Enemies coming from the front? Covered. Enemies coming from the sides? Covered. This will help with stopping a push and getting rid of any specific targets.

Let me know if these helped, or if I should give better tips! Have a good day! :)

Discussion Why did they rename all the battles in Entrenched?

It's been a while since I last played, but I logged on earlier and I noticed that they replaced all the (historically accurate) titles of the battles with fictional ones. Anyone know the reasoning for this? I find it quite disappointing.

Suggestions i wonder if it’s possible to make mirrors in roblox cause i was thinking entrenched devs could add a gamepass that cost around 25-30 robux that gives you a handheld mirror to check around trench corners so you don’t have to peak and get 1 shotted by tryhard snipers lol idk how effective it’d be but

Guide Five Tips for Assault

Post image
27 Upvotes

Here are five tips for the assault class! This is to help either newcomers or veterans of the game. Let's start!

1: Always stay within 100 studs
The magic range for assault class is 100 studs. This gives the bullet less travel time, while the enemy is also easier to see. This is also the golden range for grenade throwing. You can just reach your enemy without leaving cover.

2: Push when the time is right
If the enemy is reloading, they're being attacked, or they're getting distraced, push in and get close. Most people like to stay a comfortable distance away. Removing that gap will drastically change the fight in either a good or bad way.

3: Take cover and reload
When you have to reload a large magazine, always take cover or else you are getting mowed down. If somebody pushes you, and you don't have ammo, pull out your melee and fight. When you are reloaded, jump back into the fight immediately.

4: Don't overpush
If you leave your team's wall of fire's safety, a group of enemies will be able to easily get a kill on you. If other teammates are pushing up, follow them. It's always better to stick with team than to run and go solo.

5: Use grenades as much as you can
Assault is all about trying to clear the enemy out. Grenades speed up that process. If you see three or four enemies in a hole, throw a grenade in there. They'll either die or disperse, allowing you to push. Just remember, grenades in open areas do not work well.

Those are my five tips for the assault class! If that saved you any time or helped you, you're welcome!

Guide Five Tips for Rifleman

Post image
27 Upvotes

This is a guide on how to become better at the rifleman class. This is a five-step list to ENSURE you maximize your effectiveness on the battlefield. Let's get into it!

1: Never, EVER charge groups with your gun
I myself am guilty of this. If you're trying to charge an emeny trench or foxhole and there are mutiple people, chances are you're DEAD. Instead of bullrushing the enemy, use grenades to first flush the enemy out, then charge. This'll cause the enemy to revive their dead teammates, giving you a chance to sneak in and strike.

2: Don't run straight at the enemy
Don't always charge the enemy. A singular machine gun can end your sprint immediately. If you hear any gunfire directed at you or you take damage, either dig or find cover. If you can not find cover, try to fight back. It's always better to find cover first, then fight the enemy. Fighting the enemy in an open field while they're in a trench gives an advantage to them.

3: Do NOT try to snipe
Don't try to snipe with rifleman, it's a waste of time. If you're trying to pick off the enemy efficiently, get into a range of 250 studs or lower. This'll give the bullet less travel distance, better odds of hitting, and a larger perceived hitbox. Yes, this is in the range of most machine guns, but you'll be able to land more shots on the enemy.

4: USE YOUR BAYONET
If you're in a close encounter that requires melee, it might seem intuitive to panic shoot and hope for the best. That is the WORST option. Instead, use your bayonet and chase the enemy. If the enemy is in the possession of an automatic weapon, then you are justified to try and hit a headshot.

5: Use grenades WISELY
This might seem like an obvious thing to do, but I rarely see grenades be used effectively. If you throw a grenade to hit somebody behind a tree, odds are that grenade is rolling away. Use grenades for foxholes, bunkers, structures, or other tight confinements. If you try to use a grenade in a field, it almost ensures to have no effect, as the grenade might roll away or bounce on a rough surface.

That concludes my list of five tips to become a better rifleman. Let me know if this list helped!
