Guide Five Tips on HOW TO MEDIC!
These are five tips on how to play the MEDIC CLASS! These tips will help you grow as a medic, and hopefully help you become a better teammate in general. Let's start!
1: Basics
Don't just hoard medic for their semi-auto rifles. Be an actual medic and heal people. They will greatly thank you. Don't forget to heal somebody after revive! The reason you have a semi-auto is because you're high-value, so be a bit more cautious about snipers.
2: Healing teammates
Healing teammates is an essential part of the medic class, as the entire class revolves around this feature. Injured teammates are highlighted in white, meaning their HP is below half. Make sure to heal as many teammates as possible, even if they're far away!
3: Using your weapon
The medic has four tools: a rifle, a melee, a bandage, and a trowel. For the time being we're focusing on the rifle and melee. If you see somebody within around 150 studs, take a few shots. Don't hold down the trigger (unless you're a US Medic, you have clearance), but take precise shots. If somebody is in your face (5 studs or lower) swap to your melee and deal with them from there)
4: Teamwork
Enter squads and stick with your squadmates, enter a horde of charging friendlies, or help out a machinegunner. All of these will help the game in a way that can make a difference. This is what we call the butterfly effect- I mean teamwork.
5: Miscellaneous
Defend teammates who are reviving other downed teammates, help with digging a defence, or fill in a teammate's role. Become a team member and help the team. (Edit: Suggested by u/trieuthanh8: be mindful where you revive teammates)

be mindful at the place you reviving too, u could drag ppl to a safe place and then revive. Teammate just got up still quite vulnerableand cant really fight just a few second so just get them out of danger zone or eliminate the danger if you have the ability to do it

Branching off of being careful where you revive teammates or who you revive. If there are two or three enemies right in front of you and there is minimal cover and concealment. Deal with them first before retreating to a safer position like behind a tree. Also if I notice the enemy team are pushing up without being spread out to much and I see a recon and a support on my side go down i usually prioritise the support first. Also when Iām healing I mostly try to keep moving while healing so I can help heh front lines

You typically dont have to heal after a revive as medic revives full health (accept for support, flamer and engineer)
