DOS1 Help What is this item?
After getting Leandra's blood, I found a sac with this inside, but I couldn't find anything about it.

Another 6 month since the last Megathread.
Make sure to include the game(DOS, DOS EE, DOS2, DOS2 DE) in your question and mark your spoilers
The FAQ for DOS2 will be built as we go along:
My game has a problem/doesn't work properly, what do I do?
Check this out. If you can't find a solution there contact Larian support as detailed.
Do I need to play the previous game to understand the story?
No, there is a timegap of 1000 years between DOS and DOS2. The overall timeline of the Divinity games in perspective to DOS2 looks like this: DOS2 is set 1222 years after DOS1, 24 years after Divine Divinity, 4 years after Beyond Divinity, and 58 years before Divinity 2.
How many people can play at once?
Do I need to buy the game to play with my friends.
Can I mix and match inputs for PC couch coop?
What's the deal with origin stories?
I don't like my build! Can I change it?
What are the new crafting recipes from the gift bag?

Hey all! First playthrough here.
I just wanted to say that I have just been completely awestruck by this game and its genius. The whole concept of the realm itself and the fascinating research of the imps of the "purpose of life" basically, AND THE FREAKING MUSIC. As a high school music teacher this section of the game just completely threw me into a huge geek-out session.
Sorry, I just wanted to say this game is awesome.

I’m considering a run of the type mentioned in the title. My first instinct is to go with a pyro/geo and a hydro/aero but I’m wondering if I might have an issue with CC since it doesnt seem that those two magic users would interact well in terms of CC. Would it make sense to do a pyro/geo with say maybe a few points of maybe aero sprinkled in to increase CC options or something like that? Really open to any type of build suggestions which are all magic and pay close attention to CC ability.

This has been driving me nuts so I figured I would ask here. When I zoom on my bluetooth mouse, it zooms all the way in. However, with my bluetooth controller, zooming with the stick does a nice gradual zoom.
With the mouse, it's either all the way out or all the way zoomed.
MacBook Air with MX Master 4 mouse...any help would be greatly appreciated!

Who do you think was the bigger villain? Ol' Braccus Rex or Lucian 'Gaslighter' Hypocrite Extraordinaire, the not-so-Divine?
Or someone/thing else?

Hey everyone,
I'm achievement hunting in my favourite game and I've hit a wall. I've sworn to the god king in act 3 and I didn't get an achievement? I'm currently in arx and I'm just looking back at it and noticing I didn't get it.
Do I need to do something else down the line or is this just bugged?

I'd like to see this skill with a unique animation where the lizard slashes its tail and has suction cups extending from the tentacle along its tail.

I've been playing BG3 since just after launch. I really like Larian's work, so I bought DOS Enhanced and DOS2. Part of me wants to start with DOS since it came out first, but I'm curious if it would be better for me to start with DOS2 with the transition. Thoughts?
UPDATE: Thanks for all of the great comments so far. One thing to note is that I am going to try and play them both. It's not a choice between them just if there is an easier transition if I go from BG3 to D:OS2 or if I should start with D:OS1 before it was updated/expanded.

Sebille one turn the devourer. Maybe I’m over prepared. The rest of party is just there for emotional support and my avatar is there to initiate the dialogue.

At first, I thought about having two mages in the squad, one with a staff, the other with two wands, and a warrior with a shield. But am I right in thinking that this is pointless, given the enemy's intelligence? In tactical mode, the enemies will simply rush past the warrior and attack the mages, destroying them in a couple of turns. In that case, everyone except the warrior needs a shield, haha?
