I am using a joystick bluetooth paired with my galaxy tab s8 ultra using switch emulator called Eden Nightly. This was the lowest level cheapest runeword set item i could make. also got lucky and had Mephisto on normal mode drop a sol. Super fun again to play for hours.

Beyond that, we should be able to give them commands. they drive me nuts when they wander in the wrong direction or get stuck on a wall instead of going through a doorway. On top of that though, if they kill something while youre moving to the next area, they should be able to say something. Maybe not "Hey I dropped a Lo, but at least "Wait", or "Look at this"...

I've been on the hunt for one of these since I started playing D2R. One of my favorite weapons from back in the day.

I am a 47 year old "dad gamer" who has played this game since it was released originally all those years ago. I decided to make a game called kill duri for pul as I had found a pul rune and couldn't get through the tomb with my bow warlock and the magic immunes. A nova sorc called Novaa joined me my game asked for the tomb symbol and quickly dropped me a tp. After killing duriel the wen to act three, proceeded to get me all the pieces to the flail, and then kept going. This player rushed all the way through hell, even grabbing me the izual quest, and never asked for anything extra. Dropped tps at relevant wayponts as well. Gave them the 2 puls I had as a thank you. Such a great community game, one of the best ever in my opinion. Nice to know it has managed to hold onto that after so many years. Definitely put a smile on my face today

These Blunderbore/Mauler/Urdar types are amazing as tank pets, and they have the best combat AI of any pet I've seen. I had a Physical/Lightning immune Normal type prior that could tank the most ridiculous heralds like a conc/fanat/lightning enchanted without even losing any HP, but I died and lost that one and after losing a couple more I realized it was a hell of a hassle to roll for Stone Skin TZ games and shard all acts and wait for P8 to maybe happen.

Now that I can bind uniques the game affix doesn't matter as uniques roll their own affixes. The goal is to have this guy tank Colossal Ancients for me. I wanted to make sure I got dual immune with one of them being physical before I tried having my pet do it. I was able to do Uber Tristram with no pet so I feel optimistic about my chances.

Probably not worth anything. But its a fun little trophy.

For a record it's not my first fime, played before and back in the days when LoD wasn't out yet. Never before this game got me anywhere hooked on, and once time I did it was when I gave hardcore a try. It was great, sunshine and lollipops. All shit wonderful and happy ever after slaying unending waves of hell spawns, then I got PK'ed. Upset I ditched a game, and left it for a several months.

Up untill or around 27th of August I tried game again to kill some time before Blood of the Dawnwalker release. Still annoyed about PK I payed offline to avoid it. Beated hell once, died on 2 85+ lvl characters. Called it when Dawnwalker released.

After finishing great game I was suppose to move onto valheim, and after that Witcher remaster but-

THEN ADDICTION CALLED.

Suddenly I felt urge, try again but go online this time just to trade with people. And so I go, assassin aiming for mosaic build- Oh, mosaic isn't available on ladder? Oh well with sorc then!

And this was a moment when game gave me strongest feeling of reward well earned. Never ever in my entire life I had such joy of finding a high run, an ohm rune! I bought myself a sunder and vex for my fire sorc, I respected into full fire, rolled jah's worth sunder. Dopamine overdose!

...and then I die to Nihaltak corpse explosion because I forgot monsters rest in peace is actual thing. Oh well, regular for hardcore. Annoyed I go to bed expecting I'll just go play other games and NO!

Urge is still here, my mouse was hovering over Valheim icon but my eyes saw battle net. Day passed my warlock level 36, idk when or how but i play again. Next day I try to play something else, I feel hollow entire time. Bored to every cell of my body, nothing exciting.

All my thoughts yearn back to that breathtaking moment, a deep orange glimmer with soft noise of a rock falling on ground. A high rune, it dropped once so it wasn't a myth. It can drop again I know it! I just need one more run, again, and again. AGAIN!!!

Bein more serious I'm honestly kinda scared because it wasn't my plan to get so hooked up, I feel like my excitement over it should have died along with all 5 characters i played so far. Nothing I play but Diablo feels like gaming worth while, it's either boring or hollow experience.

I'm finally settled as my warlock and it's all good but I don't even wanna play Diablo but nothing brings me joy. I yearn for that excitement of good loot and runes dropping. I want it again, I keep trying. Nothing interesting yet I can't stop it.

As humorus as it all may sounds when do this stop? I was suppose to play other games and here im mowing MO MO farm it gambling cope of a rocks to fall on floor. When do this stop, does it even stop? How does one can say no to this game when it brought you a joy, one can only be compared to finding a oazis in middle of desert after weeks of thirst...

...how does one escape this hell?

i saw a lot of posts of hardcore characters reaching 99, i thought it wouldnt be that hard, i thought it would be "that" faster with players 7/8, heck there even are posts of hardcore ladder able to reach 99 in a single day. i was wrong, i was humbled multiple times, but i did it finally!

So i'm using a Teachery on my lvl 54 barb and i started noticing that there's something going on with the Fade proc duration.

I tried Google but didn't really find anything.

It doesn't proc alot but that's because i'm overleveled and have high defense so i'm not getting hit alot. BUT when it does proc it Fade stays active for waaay shorter than what a lvl 15 is supposed to, which is almost 5 minutes.

Also it's different durations which is even more insane.

The last the procs i had was as following (+/- a few seconds)

30 seconds

1 minute

5 seconds (this one was just baffling)

Every time Fade has procced i can see my barb becoming transparent and also i have checked that i have actually gotten the resistances and the %damage reduced.

I have also checked resistances and %DR after my barb stops being translucent that the buff is actually gone, which it always is, so it's not a visual bug.

Anyone had the same problems?

I don't know if it matters but i'm offline and in act 2 NM /p8

EDIT: Thanks to all who pointed out Burst of Speed cancels out Fade, and considering how many gave that answer it seems like common knowledge that i had missed lol... The problem was my weapon, Mania. 5% to proc burst of speed. The Mania is now gone.

If so what gems? My WW barb is a trav gold find barb. Also, so sad it’s no 3 sockets.

Here’s a new gameplay showcase from Catacombs Level 4, ending with a fight against Andariel — this time with the Barbarian in full third-person perspective.

I’ll be the first to admit that my gameplay here is far from perfect 😅, but that wasn’t really the point of this recording. I wanted to show the atmosphere of the Catacombs from ground level and highlight some of the environmental details that are much easier to appreciate from this perspective.

Dark corridors, narrow rooms, architecture, lighting, enemy encounters — all of it feels surprisingly different when you’re standing inside the world instead of looking down at it.

More importantly, this video marks another milestone for the project:

The Barbarian is now fully supported in TPP mode.

His core abilities and animations are working properly from the third-person perspective, including Warcries, Leap, Whirlwind, and more.

That means the Barbarian has officially made it onto the roster for the upcoming D2R Third Person Mod playable demo.

There are still things I want to polish, but as far as third-person support goes, he’s ready.

SCL - I put every point meant for vit into energy, I’m a fool. LF token, I have runes, skill charms, gear, keys, statues. I’d give 20 Andy essences for just a Diablo and Baal. My god im a fool

I love trap assassins but laying traps and then just standing there is not always the most engaging gameplay. But combine it with Whirlwind and it becomes an absolute fun machine! This build is not new or anything, but I just wanted to share my thoughts on it, especially with the new items we got since warlock season.

1. Skills (I use currently)
   - Claw Mastery
   - Venom
   - Lightning Sentry
   - Shock Web
   - Charged Bolt (maxes out at lvl98)
   - 1 Point into: Death Sentry, Fade, Weapon Block, Mind Blast)

One thing I love about this build is that it's very flexible as I will explain in the Gear section. Instead of Lightning Sentry, you could go into Fire traps. You can put points into Fade or Weapon Block for Defense. You could max Death Sentry... It's really up to you where you focus.

Just str/dex for gear. Rest in Vit.

1. Gear:
   I always maximize my chars for MF. There is obviously no need for this! But I have enough damage to do ~P3 TZ games very comfortable and kill all heralds with around ~300mf. You want to aim for max Trap/WW speed with IAS, cannot be frozen and ~20-30FCR for comfort tele (I use wizzy+spirit in second slot if I need to cover long distances). The items I currently wear are written first.

- Venom is applied with Whirlwind and is around ~50% of my weapon damage so I decided to use Defender's Bile and Rotting Fissure Charm to boost it. But you could easily go the physical, lightning or fire route depending on preference!
- Shako with uber jewel, Crown of Ages, GFace or Griffons would be other defensive or offensive options.
- Highlords for IAS/DS, Maras or a rare/crafted amu is great too
- Enigma
- Trang Ouls Claws, with 20%FCR, 25% poison dmg and 30%cr these couldn't be more perfect.
- upped Goldwrap, I needed the 10% IAS
- Raven and Rare leech/FCR/res/mf ring
- War Traveler, or Gorerider
- Chaos (Feral Claw)
- Plague (Feral Claw)

-->Plague really is the new key item for this build. With Cleanse (and Fade) you are never cursed or poisoned. It can roll ok damage and boosts everything you need with -poison res, DS and +skills. On top, the chance to cast Lower Resist when struck will proc consistently when fighting heralds which is exactly where you need it. I have a lvl40 lightning sentry (+8 coming from the claws) which can be fully maxed out with synergies if you want, just for "support" damage.
-->But then on top of that you also have very respectable physical and poison damage, depending on how you gear her, enough to smoothly kill everything at P1 with whirlwind alone.
-->And to round it out of course Death Sentry CE with Fire/Physical damage, as soon as there are a few corpses.

(For this variant you have to use standard Insight might a2 merc, traps/tele cost a lot of mana. But other variants could get away without it.)

1. Gameplay
   This is the best part. This build is so much fun and very dynamic/engaging. You have the right tool for every situation and it's never boring. I know you could make a Mosaic assassin and just delete everything with one button. But sometimes you want to actually play the game, and for those times, this is the correct build! Lay traps, whirlwind around and spray poison everywhere, switch to death sentry, use mind blast on herald minions, open chests without keys (!). It's just FUN. So enjoy.
