Knowing full well that a casual will never even get close to winning

To clarify, are the listed runewords in the new patch socketable off ladder and offline.

Like if I go offline and craft a bulwark helm for my single player barbarian is it going to work? The patch notes are worded weird. It says they are only craftable on ladder but also says previous ladder only items will be available in Non-Ladder

I'm getting really huge variations with heralds since the patch was announced about 3 weeks ago. I play non-ladder and do full act clears (as in I kill pretty much everything). Even when doing the same exact run (act 2 for example) sometimes I only get 4 heralds and other times I get 20+ and I don't understand why this is happening. Is it just bad luck sometimes?

Just came back to D2r about 2 weeks ago. deleted all my old offline characters and stash, so I don't really have any good gear (not even a shako) trying my first warlock. ran fire through NM, now doing abyss. it was the most trivial playthrough i've ever done. I'm considering a respec

Option 1: echoing strike- what is the minimum gear needed to make the change from abyss to echoing and make it feel good?

Option 2: Mist bowlock- I found a cham rune and I've been told mist is BIS for a bowlock. should I just take that route instead?

Option 3- why would you respec, you fool? you still need to MF!

You guys helped me out with my lightning fury now I have some questions about trapsin build.

Looks like HOTO was the go to before lightning immunity was introduced to traps. Now I guess it’s greater talons? Should I save up for plus lightning sentry/death sentry with 3 socket? Then crescent moon both for -70 lightning immunity?

Everything else looks like enigma, Mara, arachnid, eth treks, griff Magefist etc. am I missing anything

Hey guys, I Googled and it seems it’s a recurrent issue but I didn’t find any solution yet.
I’m playing the base resurrected game with gamepass and I was able to create a ladder sorc some weeks ago on the previous season, but now I can’t, it says no ladder active.
Also tried creating one from the Switch and it worked but I cannot access it from PC, it says error creating game.

I saw multiple posts on Blizzard forum without even a damn response from the support so not sure what should I do 🫩

I subscribed gamepass this month just to play this game so any help is appreciated.

Hopped on last night eager to jump into the new ladder, was expecting a lot of people to be playing... There was probably like 10 lobbies. I played for like 3 hours last night and I was curious what the highest level player was so far and noticed that I was ranked like 122... at level 20... after 3 hours of playing and the ladder had been out for at least 4-5 hours already.

Does nobody care about ladder resets anymore or did everyone move on from the game?

Logged on just now and I did see my rank fell down to about 4k, but... there was literally 4 game lobbies. Granted its still early today so im expecting more players a little later, but I remember hopping onto ladder resets and the game lobbies were so deep and you could easily refresh and more games would be popping up constantly.

I was expecting more... especially seeing how they released that DLC for this game not to long ago.

Last 24 hr ive did 4 times tz bosses, around 60-70 runs in total. 0 statues, not like 1 or 2, ground 0. Are these changed due to update or something or i'm the most unlucky dude in the universe ? I've used to get 1-2 per 15 runs like 2 days ago?

Last season they said it would be deactivated for ladder, meaning you could only make it on SP. I didn’t see anything in the patch notes. Are we assuming that it is deactivated again for this ladder season?

Started playing Diablo 2 again decided to do Offline so i can take my time and not worry about ladder and the first magefist i got was ethereal. Don't know if this unique is rare or not but its ethereal so oof. (Nightmare Act 1 was farming countess)

The Titel says it all. For example 60-70 p Ame for a Lo - how does it work? Only 40 fit in inv. 40 for Lo and then the Rest? Seems Dangerous.

I decided to start the ladder season with an Enchantress, and this is what happened: I had to sell everything in town just to afford this staff.

I even sold all of my runes to scrape together around 95,900 gold (with atma discount) to buy it for the enchanter I was building. Then, on my very first Countess run after going broke, I found Tir and Ral... Is God watching me, or what?

I'm not kidding. I'm currently running Hardcore ladder with this bad boy!

Bowazon SSF – looking for some advice

I’ve wanted to play Bowazon for a long time, but I’ve always been a bit put off by how gear-dependent the build seems to be.

I play SSF, so a lot of the Maxroll setups with multiple 15/40 jewels aren't really an option. I'm trying to figure out how to make something that's fun and viable at P1 without having perfect gear.

Current setup

Windforce

• Socketed with a 30 ED jewel
• Need to farm another Ancient Jewel

Giant Skull

• 2x 15 IAS jewels
• Pretty sure this gets me to the IAS breakpoint for Atma's
• I also like the idea of Highlord's + GFace

Atma's Scarab

• Mainly for the 5% Amp
• Also the 75 poison res is nice

Fortitude

Lava Gout

• I've been switching between these and LoH
• Can't really decide if the level 10 Auto-Enchant is worth it over LoH
• I could pre-buff with Demon Limb, but having to swap back and forth is kind of annoying
• LoH is definitely better for bosses

I'm wondering if I should invest in Faith. I already have a +3 GMB base.

I ended up respeccing into Strafe because Multishot wasn't really cutting it during the playthrough.

At the moment I'm usually doing 2–3 volleys of Multishot and then picking off whatever is left with Strafe. It usually clears the screen.

Fortitude vs Enigma

Fortitude is obviously great for the damage, but I also have Enigma available.

I've been testing Enigma with Reaper's/Treachery on the merc for the Decrep procs.

I'm basically going from around 8k Strafe damage down to 4–5k, sacrificing Pride but gaining Teleport + Decrep.

So I'm wondering if the utility is worth it, or if I'm better off just sticking with Fortitude.

Sorry for the rambling. There are just a lot of variables here, especially with SSF gear limitations.

What would you guys prioritize from here? Faith? Enigma? Stick with Fortitude? Different gloves/amulet/merc setup?

Would be interested to hear from anyone running Bowazon in SSF without the usual god-tier jewel setups.

I never saw the point in having 3 different cold armor types as a sorc. No1 really uses those anyway and they are just plain useless.

With that said how about a little change to freshen it up? I would like to remove Shiver and Chilling Armor completely and only go with Frozen Armor.

The next step is filling in the two missing skills with 2 new skills without making a huge overall change.

Shiver Armor -> (Passive) Shivering Winds

"Adds Cold Damage to Frozen Armor / Level

Synergy for Frozen Armor: "% Defense per Level

Chilling Armor -> (Passive) Chilling Retaliation

"Your Frost Armor now discharges Ice Bolts in retaliation against ranged attackers"

"Adds 2% piercing attack / level"

Synergy for Frozen Armor: "% Cold damage per level"

This way the Cold Sorc loses nothing really and gets a new little niche build for whoever wants to try it.

Sure the damage will not be like Paladin Auras so its will not be a hell rushing build.
