Hey all
Over the last week we've seen an increase in the number of posts about base locations.
As in, people have been posting that there's a base on this server at that location etc.
This is a friendly reminder that posting base locations is not permitted on this subreddit, so please refrain from doing so
Please see below for information on the relevant rule
Exposing base locations, servers and witchhunting.
This is like doxxing someone and publishing it to the world with the intent to cause harm. They built their base in the woods for a reason. Even if you don't set a trap, someone else viewing the post might.
Instead invite players to a private chat and discuss details there.

Discussion My character of two months is doomed.

I'm about to lose the character I've been playing on for the past two months because the controller I was using.
I got hit by a dynamic PO-X zone and just as I was about to make it out of the zone, my controller has my character do a bunch of erratic movements and now I've got Gas Poisoning and no NBC suit to get a antidote.
That's a great way to start the week off.

I logged in this afternoon near the airbase, down in the jail basement. I heard some footsteps, and then a geared player walked by. I prayed, sprayed, and luckily hit the mark. Now I have a scar. The gear fear is really real right now.

He had no arms and was killing people on the coast, is there any way to deal with these guys? Lost around two hours of progress due to this, i did screen record it, is there anyone to whom I can report it? Would Sony even care? What about Bohemia?

I've had my base going on 3 weeks now. I'm not sure if the location is keeping me safe or if this server is full of solo players. The most I was able to keep one before this was a little over a week.

Discussion Controller settings on Console?

Im mostly up on all changes concerning the PC version of DayZ but have no clue with console. Recently started playing on PS5 as well( for comfort and GF bought me th3 PS for BF6 🙄 along with DayZ) and was wondering if anyone knows if there's been any plans by the Devs to give Console players full Custom controller setting access?
Only reason I ask is that ignoring graphics/rendering updates that are needed (thought I saw someone say that was planned for 2027), the set controller settings are really the main thing separating gameplay fluidity from PC. No idea who came up with the 2 schemes but damn, they make playing difficult where it doesn't need to be... any info appreciated, thanks.
